watchers in the sky
ummm headcanon or AU that aziraphale and crowley decided to live in their bookshop in outer space and they get to watch over New Earth like heaven could, and one day Crowley discovers their new counterparts not long after discovering that their friends and acquaintances had their own counterparts
i like to imagine that Asa is religious with a similar perspective as aziraphales mildly wavering loyalty (doing what he thinks is good instead, technically questioning heavens ways) and Anthony is starkly like scientific and atheist or whatever. And in the early stages of their relationship they bicker about it. Over time Asa questions his beliefs but he doesnt outright abandon them. They comfort him, he sticks with his principles, and Anthony learns that hey thats okay beliefs dont kill you and sometimes they make you feel better or whatevs. so they dont bicker about it, and they like learning about eachothers perspectives, and it kinda changes how they view the universe so that their views are a little closer to something in the middle rather than one being changed more than the other.
i am claiming myself as the Anthasa Guy because i like Anthasa too much. shoutout anthony and asa
early day bickering with a side of omnipresent gossip
a morning spent bickering while your original selves cackle at your silliness from a plane you cant even begin to fathom. well. maybe one of you can begin to fathom it. he sure acts like he can
