SXSW: Anthony Bourdain

“I’ll go back to brunch, motherfucker. I don’t care.”

Great article for those who missed it. Anthony Bourdain was true to form at SXSW. It was cool hearing him talk about the production value filmmakers bring to his show Parts Unknown -- from editing to production design. 

Bourdain expressed a genuine joy for making things with others. He has a clear unapologetic vision to make each show different while passionately never pandering to the audience. He expressed that if he shot based on that, every episode would be about BBQ. Twas’ inspiring and refreshing. Food and filmmaking make for great conversation and some profound insights on the world and life.
