Imagine this as the plot to “Captain America 4″:
1) Title: “Captain America: Secret Empire”
2) Plot: The 2024 U.S. Presidential elections is taking place, with the main focus being on the aftermath of the Blip. The race is between the incumbent, Anthony Power, and the lead challenger, Leila Taylor (party affiliations are deliberately kept secret). With public support growing for Leila, Captain America Sam Wilson starts noticing a series of bizarre incidents that seem to be centered on tarnishing Leila’s reputation. As Sam investigates, he stumbles upon a conspiracy that threatens to turn him into America’s number one enemy.
3) Main villain: The Secret Empire. They are a splinter group from HYDRA that believes that HYDRA was “not extreme enough”. Their leader is President Anthony Power, the live-action adaptation of Professor Power. Anthony is also referred to as “Number One” by the organization.
4) Villain plot: To ruin Leila Taylor’s reputation and win the 2024 elections.
