DET. SCOTT- “So you don’t remember what time you got home the next morning?”
DANA- “No,... that is what I said, I do not remember.”
DET. SCOTT- It must have been really early then, as the doorman at your complex said he came on duty that morning at five a.m. and your car was already parked in it’s assigned spot, as he remembered parking across from it. So was it before five in the morning?”
DANA- “Yes, I suppose it was, if he said he saw my car.”
DET. SCOTT- “So how long have you worked for Mr. Caparini? And in what capacity?”
ANTHONY- “I can answer that, she has been with me for six months, and she is my secretary and personal assistant.”
DET. SCOTT- “Very well, then Miss Cole, how long have you been involved romantically with Mr. Caparini?”
ANTHONY- “Dana, you do not need to answer that...where are you going with this, Detective?”
DET. SCOTT- “Sir, your wife has been murdered, while you were away in a motel room with your personal assistant, from what she says all night...a room with one double bed I may add. I was born at night sir, but not last night. There could be motive here...”
DANA- “Motive for what? For ME to kill her?, that is absurd!”
DET. SCOTT- “Did Mr. Caparini give you information regarding his plans to set his wife up the night she was murdered, by having his cousin seduce her and his sister take pictures so he could file for divorce on grounds of adultery?”
DANA- “No...Why would he tell me that?”
DET. SCOTT- “I think we both know why, Miss Cole...may I ask where you got your shoes, those are quite stunning...my wife would love them.”
DANA- “My shoes?? Hell I don’t know.”
ANTHONY- “I think we are finished here detective.”
DET.SCOTT- “Very well, then...I do need to take another look at the crime scene however...that is still police protected property until the investigation is complete.”
ANTHONY- “Fine, go ahead, but i don’t want to go up there and see that room again. Dana can you take him up...and watch him so he doesn’t plant any evidence.”
DET. SCOTT- “I have no evidence to plant, Mr. Caparini...all the evidence we needed has already been collected. I just need to see one thing...but If Miss Cole wishes to go with me, she is more than happy to do so.”
The detective stands and then sits back down.....
