Guangzhou still hasn't figured it out yet. China has censored the article about Africans and Black residence experiencing increased scrutiny in Guangzhou and has instead issued out this article.
And what bothers the shit out of me is this bit:
MISUNDERSTANDING!?
COMMUNICATION ISSUES!?!?
That's what this is being called? A misunderstanding... The elephant that China is refusing to acknowledge has been explained in this lovely lil chart:
China is trying to make it seem like foreigners don't want anything to do with prevention/control protocol whatsoever, when in reality, the ONLY issue at hand is the two highlighted lines.
It has exhausted many people including those who are supporting the ones receiving this dehumanizing treatment. But again, the articles and media is making it look like the whole policy is dehumanizing, and that's nowhere near the reality of these reactions.
It's scary that diplomatic figures are the ones fucking up otherwise simple shit with "communication issues" between and among each other! One person told another person something, but then a third person came across new information and didn't tell the second person or the first person and then they wonder why everything is an anxiety-inducing mess.
But just... ughh...
