an activist group called feminists in resistance were attacked by the BJP, while they were raising awareness about CAA-NPR-NRC in the Baghatjatin area of kolkata. the BJP are clearly targeting smaller groups, at least within the city; the large demonstrations and rallies have been left relatively untouched within the city, though there have been reports of violence from the rural and semi-rural areas.

the feminists in resistance demonstration was however, a relatively small one, there were about 25 people in total at the height of the demonstration, thinning out to abou 10-12 people around the time they were attacked. of the attackers, one has been apprehended and is currently being admitted into police custody. as far a reports of the injuries go, at least two people have been severely wounded and others have sustained minor injuries.
