If beating another character when they are doing shit is so horrible then you should seriously move on to shoujo manga coz basically every damn shounen have something like this. Have you seem Sakura punching Naruto? Or Erza beating Natsu and Gray in fairy tail? There's nothing more common in japanese shounen.
i have seen neither of those and do not care and guess what? eren and jean are fucking children. they’re soldiers, yes, but they’re fifteen fucking years old. they are kids. from what i’ve gathered from the spoilers, they are kids who were playing around and fighting or arguing and there’s better ways to get your subordinates to stop fighting than by kicking them in the fucking stomach.
