A monstrosity barred the way. The work of a devil fruit...? Was this not Moria’s devil fruit ability--to animate the dead?
Should that wretched Warlord be near, Hancock would see to his last days.

“Buttering me up with humour, are you?” He said with a snicker, “Or just bored of the day to day in Goodneighbor?”

“Ah, no, no thank you,” Raul didn’t like drugs; he never liked drugs. It was because of the drug trade that the Mexican people had been supressed by the Cartel for centuries before the bombs dropped-- some say that what little remains of Mexican civilization is still under Cartel control.
He gently pushed the offered jet inhaler away from him, and shoved his hands in the pockets of his vaquero outfit. “I was actually wondering if any vigilante work needed to be done around here.”

She was caught red-handed, stuffing her face full of a box of stolen Sugar Bombs in one of the pantry closets of the Old State House. The ghoulish mayor had probably heard the scratching sounds comming from the closet, and that was why he was here now, in front of the door, blocking the only way out. Finding a strange hooded woman hunched over in the corner.
She could try to run between his legs and make a break for it, tackle him and push him out of the way, or explain to him that she was just hungry and needed food. She had options here.
Instead she just barred her teeth at him, “HSSSS!” That wasn’t the greatest thing she could have done.

This place really doesn’t seem that safe. Liam didn’t dare speak that thought aloud to Goodneighbor’s mayor, his forehead creased slightly with worry. The atmosphere around him seemed an odd combination of liberation and fear. He wasn’t the sort of person that would fit in a place like this. “You let synths into the city, right?” he piped up, curious. He wasn’t expecting to find any familiar faces, not really. After all, based on what the Sole Survivor had told him, the Railroad gave them an all new look to keep them hidden. “Diamond City acts like they’re everywhere. They’re all so scared there, but I don’t see why they should be.”
