So I'm an anarchocommunist but I'm definitely not pro gun, like I would like to think that if Karl Marx saw all the school shootings in America now he would perhaps reconsider the whole 'under no circumstances must the proletariat be disarmed'??? Cause like it's not a matter where you can just argue with 'just give guns to the responsible ones' because either way the 'responsible ones' could be posing and I know people will always find a way to get guns illegally. But if we have stricter gun laws all over the world it will be harder to get them, We can protect ourselves and others differently, safely and in the process not accidentally killing someone or just don't go the violence route all together. But if you older anarchists and communists think I don't fully understand the whole thing all to much then please explain 😭

“This may be one of the worst moments in history to fetishize the law or the quality of being law-abiding.
It’s us and them. It’s the fascists vs. everyone else. If criminalization is all it takes to void our solidarity, then we have already lost, because the enemy holds the power to criminalize whoever they want, whenever they choose. Right now, they are on the verge of deporting a man for legally protected speech. There is no limit to what they will do. To hold the law sacred when criminalization is the very beast our lawless enemies would feed us to is beyond self-defeating. It’s social suicide.”
