ANTIMONITE Up to 4 cm, long stalks of antimonite grow through large calcite crystals. The sample is very aesthetic and can be viewed from all sides. On the one hand, the crystals are finer, shinier to silver, which grows through the calcite of sugar constructions. On the other hand, the crystals are more massive, darker, grown more into space, and the cages of honey calcites creep up. The sample dates back to the 1980s from Kadamzhay, Kazakhstan, former  Kyrgyzstan. STIBNITUL, numit si Antimonit sau Stibina, este o suflura de antimoniu, cu o duritate de 2 pe scara Mohs. Cristalizeaza in sistem ortorombic si formeaza adesea cristale prismatice cu striatii longitudinale. Poate prezenta formatiuni masive, granulare sau lamelare. Culoarea Stibnitului este gri-metalic, iar cand se matuieste devine negru. Se formeaza in vene hidrotermale cu temperaturi scazute.…
