A Pedophile is someone who is sexually attracted to children. By “antis” I’m assuming you are talking about antishippers. Proshipping is when someone ships taboo relationships that include but are not limited to incest, power dynamics, and age gaps. Basically just problematic relationships. Does it make you a pedophile for shipping a minor and a fully grown adult? I think so. I am entitled to my own opinions. If my opinion is that you are a pedophile for talking on the internet about how you headcanon minors doing explicit acts with an adult then so be it. It is my opinion, as it is yours to say shipping a minor and an adult is not pedophilia. Why I consider it pedophilia is that even though this is fictional, they still think and act like children. To find the fact that the child would even have intercourse with an adult appealing, is gross. But let’s just say the child consented!! Children cannot consent. So there is nothing to back up why shipping an adult with a minor is good. Let’s say if they don’t do anything sexual. That is grooming and still pedophilia. To like the fact that a child and an adult are in a relationship, makes you a predator.
Anyways hopefully all this stuff will stop so I can go back to drawing silly characters. I want to keep my page lighthearted but this whole proshipping stuff is kinda sad. Hopefully it’ll end soon lol!!
I also DO NOT condone harassment, even to proshippers. As a minor myself, I think I have a say is and what’s not pedophilia.
