“don’t-- touch me.” he warns to whoever is there as he sits curled up in the corner of a shower in the community pool’s locker room. his dark shirt and red shorts sticking to his wet skin. billy can’t even lift his head, with the room spinning on top of his body freezing from the cold water he previously had pouring on top of him. ( because it hates the heat and likes it COLD. ) that’s why he’s simultaneously broken out in sweat and shivering. it was only a few minutes in-- he’d gotten here at his job for his shift at the lifeguard post when his skin was on fire under the sun. he felt as if he couldn’t even breathe, like his chest was completely caving in. his stomach had never felt that nauseous. so dizzy he barely stumbled here in one piece. and the symptoms STILL hasn’t entirely went away, little does he know it’s just the beginning of something monstrous taking over him. trying to CONTROL him. can feel something urging him to gnaw and tear at anyone who gets too close. can feel himself itching to do terrible things to this easy target right next to him right now, it’s terrifying. he doesn’t want to do these things. he doesn’t want to do these things. he doesn’t want to do these things. hugging his knees tighter, nails dig into his legs and squeezes his eyes shut. drenched curls falling around his face like a curtain. teeth chattering as billy continues to shiver, trying to anchor himself away from this awful dark energy lurking over him.
