1. Amanda

Amanda returns to the top of my rankings this week with a smashing shot. Her eyes are glowing and burning through the lens even though half her face is in shadows, and the ethereal expression just makes it such an eerily entrancing picture. She didn’t deliver in just the face, though, her body is amazing. It doesn’t feel like a pose, really, and the simplicity feels almost whimsical, which helps to showcase her outfit beautifully and making it look effortless too.

2. Yaya

It became clear at this point that Yaya was one of the best posers of the bunch, and this week is further proof. The pose is so energetic and creates so many angles to make the shot interesting and the outfit shine. Plus, Yaya finally delivered a face that was as strong as the body after weeks of saying her face was what kept her from being completely spectacular. She is so focused and striking here, and I love how she’s placed the handbag.

3. Nicole

Wow, I really do not recognise Nicole here. This is so gorgeous and oozes glamour. The broken down doll pose is quite quirky but still fashionable, and her face looks gorgeous, a more sophisticated snob vibe, if you will. I feel like this is a good attempt at high fashion, but I’m bothered by Nicole not catching the light very well, even though I still do like the overall picture.

4. Eva

I adore how Eva has elongated herself here. She looks tall and lithe, and is one of the first girls to look like she’s been caught genuinely skating rather than standing still on skates. Though I wish her face wasn’t hidden by the hat, what I do see is fabulous. The purse on her left hand is shown off really well and in a cute, natural way. My only drawback is the right arm, which feels too pose-y but it doesn’t mar the great effort from Eva.

5. Norelle

Although Norelle is slightly overwhelmed by the outfit (unlike Ann who holds her own even with an eccentric blue puff on her head) what places her this high is that she’s using her entire body and face in unison pretty well. Though the pink handbag feels a bit too “on the nose”, the other two are shown off properly, and she’s conveying more motion than anyone below her. She loses me with the face, which is held too high and doesn’t portray anything strong enough to discern.

6. Ann

Based on the face and upper body alone, Ann could probably rank into my Top 3 this week, but once your eyes go below the torso, you notice the obvious flaws. The haughty, rich socialite narrative really works for her, and her face is divine, and she did one of the best jobs in holding the handbag. Her lower torso looks larger than it is because of how she angled herself, and the legs are so stiff and weak even though they’re keeping her upright. If only she could have matched her lower body with her expression, this would be a killer shot.

7. Cassie

Cassie is letting the outfit and wig wear her, which results in a passable but bland and unmemorable photo. The thing is, the girl looks pretty and does her job, but once again, the bare minimum isn’t really enough, especially when you don’t own the shot as a model. I think the pose is nice, but her face is tense and the smile doesn’t work since it looks fake and doesn’t reach her eyes. It’s a cute shot of Cassie, but that doesn’t make the cut in this competition.

8. Kelle

While I understand that Kelle was trying to bring attention to the bags, her pose just doesn’t work. Her legs look so still, it makes the hunched back appear awkward, like she’s trying to avoid crashing into the disco ball. Her face confuses me for the simple fact that she herself looks so utterly befuddled. I can see the products and they look decent, but I hardly can attribute much of that to Kelle since she herself is kind of a mess.
