FINAL RUNWAY
This will forever be one of my favourite final runways in ANTM. The concept was incredibly creative and worked exceptionally well despite my initial fears that it might be too ambitious. (Not to mention it gave us what is, in my opinion, one of the best lines in Top Model history and is my personal mantra for this blog- walking like Jesus).
1. Naima
Good God, did Naima slay that final runway! I totally agree with her assertion of felling superhuman because she rocked it like it was nobody’s business. She was brilliant and so strong with every pass, with gorgeous poses to boot. Her walk was confident and so powerful while keeping a semblance of elegance with it. She conquered that face of hers which sometimes faltered face-on; her focus was exquisite and never wavered. Naima embodied fierceness and stardust with her walk, which definitely played its part in her subsequent crowning.
2. Kahlen
Despite her anxious fears, Kahlen was worthy of much praise herself in her final journey of the Top Model catwalk. Her walk was actually pretty stellar, and I found myself hyping Janice up when she was yelling “That’s my girl!” as soon as she stepped out. Her poise and fluidity were amazing to see blossom, although I wish she hadn’t kept her hand on her hip so frequently as it sometimes gave the impression of being less professional. Kahlen made me proud, but there was no comparing her to Naima’s established signature strut. Still, they both certainly were, to quote Anna from Cycle 2, “Christ-like” on that hydro-runway.
