day three.
in the past few days, ophelia had determined there almost no places as peaceful at a carnival than stopped at the top of a ferris wheel. heights weren’t something she was afraid of and had spent countless times riding it over and over, able to see the whole of the fairgrounds from the very top. this time was no different, getting comfortable in the car and checking her phone as she waited for them to check the ride restraints. after the attendant came around to check hers, she relaxes, at least until the car rocks and another person jumps in. “excuse me, this one is taken,” she says, a little sharply without looking up at the intruder. when she saw who it was though, her mood sours. “hell no. get out, anton.” / @eugrant
