ON COLOR: Ocher is the color of the earth and the feminine. Blue is beauty as beauty, so it is not used for any purpose other than beauty itself. Black is the past. Green is balance. White and Siena together are life force. White is innocence and what is not dominated by life. Red is power. White and red together are conflict.

For him that contact with the 'higher' was an absolute necessity, but it is also very important for every 'normal' person. Even if they do not go crazy. Those values give the meaning to your life.

Anton arrived in Santpoort because his feeling went too far (insanity, the feeling that has become rudderless and knows no boundary) and his mind too high (madness, ideas that have become rudderless and no longer know a border). The latter he called scientistic. Sometimes he had that, then his eyes became very pale blue, you could see it. He would then walk endlessly, countless laps around the stairs, and when we had the big roof, all day back and forth. We always managed to solve it again in that day or half day. The feeling was too big at night, and as far as I know almost every night. Everyone knows that as nightmares. He would sit in there without him sleeping. Suddenly, for example, an all-dominant fear that a fire would occur. Then the next day all the remaining windows were boarded up (there they could throw molotov coctails in), or all the candles went out of the house, or all gas-cookers the same and electric hobs were bought. He could only live if he lived those higher values. Such as universal love for the 'being', or the man not as a human being but as 'the Man', as a hero, the woman as the protection or the beauty or the primordial mother. The human feeling and intellect, that did not work anymore. Then he came into madness or insanity.
