I reblogged a bunch of pieces from @antoniabishop and they were AI, removed those, thanks to folks who reached out.

from someone who was formerly friends with that tumblr user, yes, they are using AI. I'm sure if anyone searched "ai art" on their blog they'll find their old AI art posts tagged as such (because they for whatever reason feel no need to cover their tracks in any capacity)
yes, actually, that’s what fully tipped me off. first their general very high output of art was suspicious to me. then i started zooming in and seeing that the details didn’t make any sense; no reasoning for many of the sketchy marks made. and there was a level of fidelity that didn’t look digitally nor hand drawn. just strange blurriness that most modern programs wouldn’t export with. then i started focusing on fingers and things like their nature pieces, and wings of creatures. it wouldn’t make much sense for someone with such an eye for color and comp, even with a quite sketchy style, to make weird little clampy claw hands or asymmetrical butterfly wings like i saw.
they also never reply to anyone in their notes, people asking what brush they use or what program or if they offers comms or whatever. this should be a very easy way to interact and foster a relationship with a growing audience. if they have no other online presence, why ignore the attention of fans of your work here entirely?? completely baffling move for an actual artist trying to find their footing in a community.
then fully suspicious of this person, i scrolled basically all the way back and saw their old AI tags, and realized that all that was happening is that over time they just got a lot better at prompting and honing in on a specific style (or maybe fed a local model some specific fodder to copy) and completely dropping the AI disclaimers and making up weird little stories like “drawings from when i went to colorado with my bf” or whatever the fuck.
just absolutely grim.
A third antoniabishop AI image has hit the Tumblr Radar. I don't think I've ever seen any artist featured three times and in such a short period too.
ok now we really need to stop antonia.
the tumblr radar people need to know the truth ASAP.
Please, spread the word about antoniabishop. We can't have her get on the radar again.
All images posted by the user @/antoniabishop are AI btw. https://www.tumblr.com/ai-art-thieves/tagged/case%3A%20wolfharrow%2Fantoniabishop

i keep seeing this artist get featured and i am begging anyone to not buy from or support them because i am 99.9% sure they are using genAI for their “art”
how are you gonna be a transphobe AND serve AI generated art. like @antoniabishop pick a struggle lol
