Breakfast at Antonio’s today after shift - as our STIAs are coming to an end, the goodbye breakfasts/lunches/dinners have begun! Antonio’s is located in Tagaytay, which is about 1.5 hours one-way away from Makati. Definitely a long drive for one meal, but at least we left work early (6am) so we beat the worst of the traffic. And then of course after breakfast we had to drop by a bakery to get buko tarts/buko pie; the usual stop is at a place called Rowena’s, but this time we went to Amira’s and after a small taste test when I got home, it’s definitely the best buko pie I’ve ever had - yaaayy!
I’d slowly been shifting my sleep schedule in preparation for breakfast today since I usually sleep at around 8am and I knew we wouldn’t get back until around noon today. It’s funny how much preparation I need to do for one outing. It’ll be nice to be back on days in January, organizing my life is so much easier when I don’t need to switch between nights and days every week and plan my sleep accordingly!

As a takeaway from our Tagaytay trip, Dikki and I bought jams from Antonio's What I like about the strawberry pine nut jam is the texture the pine nuts give to the jam. Now, my pleasant surprise is the Banana Macadamia Jam which reminds me of minatamis na saging na saba. I feel like this jam will work well on a halo-halo 😁 All in all, you can tell, I had an awesome breakfast with these on my toast 👍🏼 -- You can buy these jams at Breakfast at Antonio’s is located along E.
