They’d both barely made it out of the building just before it exploded knocking them off their feet. He took a pretty hard knock to the head when he fell and it left him dazed for bit. Not to mention his ears were still ringing from the explosion and he could barely make out what the other was saying to him. He nodded as he got to his feet sending a glare towards the older man “a little warning next time would be nice before I actually do end up deaf.”

He raised his eyebrows at Donghae when he latched his arms around him in a drunken hug. It was clear out of the two of them who had way too much to drink this time and it was clear he was the victor this time. Leo decided to not make a deal out of the personal space invasion considering the last time he may have broke a few things around the elders bar which is promptly blamed on Dara. Awkwardly he patted the other on the back and helped him to bed “let’s get you to bed so you can sleep this off.”

Leo had never been one to use an umbrella when it rained not he could when it had started raining midway to Donghae’s place. Also he was on a motorcycle so it’s not like he could pull one out as he drove. It wasn’t like he wouldn’t just borrow some dry clothes from the elder when he showed up at his door soaked from head to toe by the weather.

“You are adorable.”

Leo wasn’t sure what to make of the elder’s comment but wanted to brush it off as the both of them having had too much to drink. He assumed the compliment was made because of his chubby cheeks that were tinted red as a result of drinking past his limit but at least he hadn’t past out yet or drunkenly suggested another hair cut. Instead he let out an embarrassed sigh and covered his face with his arms as he lays his head down on the bar table.

"Who did this to you?"

Briefly noting in the back of his mind that this may have been one of the few times Leo had actually been at Donghae’s place. They usually just met up at his bar for drinks and hung out there for a while. He’d been caught off guard in Scorpio’s territory which left him with more than a few bruises cuts, no broken bones but he did get a nasty bullet wound to the side from the cops that came to break the fighting up.

He barely managed to get away while they were distracted with the police and somehow landed himself outside Donghae’s doorstep. It was really all a blur to him how he got from point A to B, mostly just letting his feet do the walking and him concentrating on not dying to pay attention where.

He winced as the other helped him inside before responding “just a wrong place, wrong time situation.”

her head is killing her — there’s a consistent pain behind her eyelids that just won’t leave, and with a small whimper, sooyeon snuggles into the form next to her; donghae is emitting warmth and comfort, and she sighs as she presses herself further into his body.

there’s a sigh, and a light push on her head as he pats it — but it does nothing to help her headache. she winces form it, but says nothing, because she doesn’t mind the attention, doesn’t mind the comfort. it’s something — if not anything at all, and that’s what she’s grateful for.

"i’m sleepy," she murmurs into his shirt, reaching up to wrap an arm around his waist as she yawns. small, content noises escape her throat, and she presses herself further into his side, inhaling deeply. a smile graces her lips as his fingers run through her hair, and sooyeon thinks that times like these are what she loves most.
