Hey, I've watched the movie 'Splice' and I'm totally obsessed with it! It is said 'Splice' is a Horror and Sci-Fi film but I never think of it as a Horror. Anyway there ARE some [read: a lot of] unpleasant and even disgusting moments but the whole story is like a drama for me. Why not? I see it as a story of a being created in vitro, with her own emotions and feelings. Though it is quite creepy, it is really unusual and somehow romantic. So I drew this.

I'm seriously in love with Michael Jackson. I'm in love with his Music. I'm in love with his rich, kind and at the same time childlike personality. ‘Be like children’, there was a phrase I heard once. And I believe with each fiber of my soul and heart, that it's the Truth. Children don't know life and they also often don't know how cruel the world can be. But the children are the only ones who are fully aware of how to love, while the adults often forget the real, full, bright, innocent feeling of love.

So, this was done as a tribute for Michael. Live long in our hearts, Michael, we love you more, we love you most. Thank you so much.

*only colored aquarelle pencils are used here. At last I have them tamed and I'm so proud of that thing. (You know I usually use black markers or aquarelle.)

I'm literally in love with the part of Pretty Young Thing when the robot's voice says ‘Pretty young thing’, then a pause with some bits and Mike says ‘UGH’. TWO DAMNED TIMES HE SAYS UGH AND I'M DONE, IT'S THE MOST SEXY THING I'VE EVER HEARD (not thinking of In The Closet moaning, yeah guys).
