Square Breathing!
Square breathing is a breathing technique that goes as follows:
Breathe in for 4 counts
Hold for 4 counts
Breathe out for 4 counts
Hold for 4 counts.
I like square breathing because there’s only one number to remember, and it helps me get a handle on my breathing quicker.
Some people like to imagine a square, and think about moving their breath or awareness along each of the sides.
