14–What do they do in their free time? Do they have any hobbies?

Avi develops more of this sort of thing the longer she’s on the surface/the more…stable she feels?  Originally it’s just maintaining her clothing and gear, mending and such. By, say, Inquisition-era, she collects neat rocks and dried flowers, sometimes to share with friends, sometimes to keep for herself. She’s also gotten pretty good at leather and metal working, I think, and will pursue it given time and equipment. It would have started as just taking care of her own things and then patching up friends’ things as a favor (this is how she shows you she cares), to making little things of her own, like a pouch or engraving a crude design on a bit of armor or a dagger.

15–Do they like animals? If so, which ones?Avi will happily visit with and bond with anything that isn’t destined for the dinner table, essentially. So, milk cows and goats at the Vigil, definitely, chickens are iffy, dogs and cats are a definite YES, nugs, culturally, are a no. In game-canon she loves her mabari very very much, in the multi-warden AU I have with @louiiiiiiiiiiiiiiisa I suspect she’s more of a cat person? Her ideal animal companion is like, a giant domestic hunting cat, bred for that purpose the same way mabari are–just that streak of feline independence. She likes a sturdy pet that can look after itself both in and out of combat!

16–What’s their favorite kind of weather?

As someone who spends a lot of time outdoors, usually wearing and/or carrying heavy things, Avi appreciates a crisp, clear fall day where she is neither going to freeze nor sweat her ass off, good visibility, no rain to ruin her gear. But that’s only the practical answer. If she has somewhere safe to go (like, say, the Vigil, or some other sort of home base), she really, really loves the low, dense, almost red/purple night sky you get before and during a heavy snow. As long as she’s got cover and she knows that her loved ones–and those she’s responsible for–aren’t in danger themselves because of the weather, she likes the way the snow closes everything in and quiets things down. A sort of temporary truce, enforced simplicity. She’d hate it if you told her that it’s cavelike, but. It’s a little cavelike. >>
