Anything 3 feat. Auston Matthews

“Hey baby, how’s-” 

“Where are you?” 

“We just landed.” I could hear the smile in his voice and I scowled, antsy from pent up energy that had been building all day. He’d messaged me about a surprise this morning and then turned off his phone so I couldn’t ask any questions. “Should be home in half an hour.” 

“Auston-” 

“Have you been a good girl?” He was toying with me and I wasn’t having it. I answered him through clenched teeth, a reluctant yes. “Have you followed the rules Shane?” 

“Yes.”

“Have you-” 

“I haven’t touched myself since you left. My ass had been filled and I’ve been soaking my panties every fucking day but I haven’t been able to do anything, Auston. I’m not in the mood.” 

The tone of his voice changed and he dropped to a whisper, swearing quietly under his breath. “Wait in the bedroom. We’ll be home soon.” 

I hung up and dropped my phone onto the couch, standing up and starting towards the kitchen. I was halfway through pouring a glass of whiskey when I set the bottle down, my stomach flipping as I replayed our conversation. 

He’d said ‘we’.

We’ll be home soon. 

I thought of calling him back, verifying the ridiculous suspicion he’d put in my mind, but I didn’t. I grabbed my glass and made my way to our bedroom. Auston had asked me to put the black silk sheets from my apartment on his bed. I’d foraged through six boxes to find them and managed to fully unpack two before giving up. 

The past few days had been a mix of heaven and hell and I was tired of arousal building only to be replaced by anxious energy. My nerves were frazzled and my shoulders ached and I dropped into bed, pulling the covers over my legs. 

The television proved to be an adequate distraction and I nodded off watching it, vaguely aware of the door opening after a while. Auston woke me with a gentle hand on my cheek and I lifted my arms to stretch. 

“Hi,” he leaned in to kiss me chastely and kept his lips against mine as he spoke, “I missed you.” 

“Missed you too.” 

“Are you too tired? We can-” 

“Nope. Not a chance.” The we intrigued me and I sat up, awake and aware of everything now. The silk against my skin, his warm touch as he traced a line down my neck, everything felt heightened. “What’s my surprise? Or should I say who?” 

He sat back and grinned, a devilish smirk that sent a shiver through me, before he held up one finger. 

“Before we do anything, we gotta talk. Set some ground rules.” I nodded and he continued. “I know we’ve talked about this and you said you’d love to, it’s totally fine if you don’t.” 

“Auston-” 

“I don’t want you to feel like you have to do anything. I don’t want you to feel uncomfortable. If you want to stop at any point, you’ll tell me?” I nodded and he continued. “I want you to have a good time.” 

“Duly noted.” I rose up onto my knees and bounced excitedly. “Where’s my surprise?” 

He rolled his eyes and fought a smile, slipping his jacket off and hanging it up. I watched him walk around the room, toss his wallet on the dresser and take off his belt. He stopped at the door and turned, coming back to kiss me hard. 

 “I love you Shane. So much.” 

“I love you too.” I threw my arms over his shoulder and pulled him close. We parted long enough for him to take my shirt off and my breath caught in my chest as he pinched my nipples. Every nerve in my body lit up and I moaned into his mouth, leaning back to steady myself. 

“You ready?” 

“Mhmm.” 

He disappeared into the hall and I sat back, toying with the tie on my shorts. I heard him talking for a minute before his footsteps started back, a second set coming with him. The doorway darkened as he approached and I shivered in anticipation, goose bumps rising on my skin as I saw who he was with. 

“I believe you two have met.”

This is my canon divergent verse, basically how I view the potential events of season two from a very Malec-centered perspective. Two of the three stories in this verse are complete, and I plan to write the third gigantic (OMG this plot is turning into a beast) one once I finish up my dalliance in hockey AU land. ok but the trailer and the new sneak peek for 2x03 is giving me flashbacks to "anything" and i don't know what to do with myself!

Ugh, me too! And I hate it and I love it and I want to marry and then divorce and remarry it!

The new chap of "everything" was absolutely stellar, bonefied grade-A, loved it! Thanks so much for all your hard work! <3 And now I can't help thinking about how this Alec will never be able to let Magnus tie him to the bed without flashing back to that terrible few moments in the hospital wing when he thought you-know-what happened (which would be an amazing oneshot, tbh, not that I'm trying to tell you how to do your job which is apparently breaking my heart). Anywho, thanks again!!

How the hell did you just come up with something so angsty and sexy at the same time? Ugh! Punch me in the gut why don’t you! I wasn’t expecting that. ;)

It really would be a shame if he let that experience ruin his ability to be tied down for sexy times. This is something Magnus will have to work out with him. They can’t go through their whole lives deprived of that. *grins*

Glad I’m doing a good job of breaking your heart I guess? Hopefully tomorrow will mend it a bit. <333

All I can say is: Wait. Chapter Nine is going to fix SO MUCH and things will be so much better and make so much more sense after it I PROMISE. They’ve been through the storm. It’s time for the sun to shine. And it’s gonna fucking BLAZE.
