i personally think eddie has this HUGE camp quality to him. like. this dude, in the middle of a hospital riot, decides to base himself entirely in this 50s domestic fantasy, sewing dresses and wedding garb, playing fifties music and singing 20s show tunes to himself? it’s camp baby!
also i PERSONALLY think he exudes this hugely internalised homophobic energy because the dude is clearly attracted to men and is so pissed off about it that he has to mutilate male bodies into female ones. there’s so much homoerotic energy to some of the cut scenes (and like i know that’s meant to be scary but red barrels. come on.)
