sorry i'm gonna hazbin on main for a bit: why is it that the best song in season 2, which stands as one of the only ones i actually liked tbh, doesn't pay off. like at all. lute was like "I AM GOING TO TEAR HELL APART" and then. Did Not Do That.
#hazbin hotel#kat chats#hopefully everyone who hates hazbin has it muted#like on one level i get it: there were many things occurring this season; it would have been hard#where would you even do this#but at this point if they try to have lute address these feelings in any way in later seasons#it's going to feel so hollow??? like she was SO angry??? she talked such a big game???#and then all she does is get shot down seven thousand times and then abel grows a pair and puts the nail in the coffin#i mean i also get why she doesn't go against heaven; instant fallen angel status#but that would have been interesting right?? vaggi's fall paralleled with lute's#vaggi falls for saving a sinner (a good thing) while lute falls for killing sinners (a bad thing)#but what they're being punished for is disobedience. not the morality of their actions#which speaks to the control shown by heaven and is a solid critique of religion in general as a method of control#and like ok. WHY are husk and angel so much better written as characters. i can't figure it out#like. specifically in terms of the pacing of their relationship and their respective arcs#it's on a different level than many of the other characters in the show#anyways i'm just rambling... idk...
