So I have extremely painful periods that have literally made me faint multiple times in the past to the point where I have prescription meds for the pain just to be able to vaguely function and stomach food and water. I couldn’t get out of bed without it and I have an extremely high pain tolerance.
I honestly just find it hilariously sad that the only viable medication for this condition is a medication I’m allergic to to the point where I have a separate prescription for the allergic reaction because of course modern medicine can’t help with anything to do with women’s reproductive systems so we’re stuck using old treatments that don’t really work anymore
@ the medical industry, I get the whole capitalist profit thing, but please to god come up with a better solution to my body trying to kill itself multiple times a year. If you can come up with a million different solutions to erectile dysfunction, you can find one to help me take a necessary medication that doesn’t immediately cut off my ability to breathe.
