a lot of things stayed the same across their designs; this one unintentionally shares elements of their initial design from like. 5 years ago (such as the thigh high/long sleeve jacket/crop top combo), and the most recent iterations that have changed very little (color scheme, lace up details, keeping the twin tail silhouette with braids instead + their rose buns from their og nmh2 hairstyle)

the belt + buckle and choker have not changed or been omitted ever (the choker is a visual metaphor for them being mute btw)
no more pink bangs to help streamline the color palette a bit, and also because I just like being blue
the heart glasses are back!!!! I decided not to go with stripes (or fishnets) because of chloe from nmh2 (whose entire aesthetic is fishnets/stripes/industrial with long hair and tattoos)
ironically enough a throwaway from nmh2 is travis being scared of her because she isn't his type
was going to give them more armor pieces but couldn't really decide on a good silhouette that wouldn't be too bulky so the gauntlets are the only thing that have stayed from that idea
gave them clomper stompers because I like them
anyways somehow gotta get them drawn with travis now because buddy you got a hot spouse who actually loves you for who you are
but also while i'm thinking about it i wish gale talked more bc i always love hearing what he has to say. especially if after talking to mystra and coming to the realization that he was abused by her & that it's cyclical, he tells you about how azuth became the patron of wizards & how elminster had a romantic relationship with mystra too.
