Laura Milkins and I spent part of the morning yesterday in Tubac, Arizona, down closer to the border, shooting the 4th year fall installment of our environmental portrait series The Forty Seasons. I'll share a few frames from that later on but just wanted you to see what a beautiful locale we found along the Anza Trail. For my back-east friends, yes, we do have trees in Southern Arizona - along the traces of river beds and in the mountains mainly. Also the trees here in the low country don't typically get the memo about having their leaves turn color for a month or two after most of the country. The river was dry at the surface yesterday, save for a few puddle size pools of water, but it's flowing just below our feet to keep these trees looking very healthy. It was a beautiful day for a shoot and as always we had a good time doing it and made it up as we went along.
