This is a jobs pamphlet by the ABC issued in 1934 entitled "Careers for Girls". The intro to Section 1 reads: "The material in this section has been repeated from the booklet 'Careers for Boys'. In these professions girls must, on the whole, compete with boys on equal terms" The 1930s had their own problems and weren't anywhere near perfect, but it's really uplifting to know that people then were trying. #rarebook #equality #anzaab #australia
