The script spoke sincerely to my own experience about coming home for Christmas; I’d yearn to reconnect with old friends, visit my old shops, return to my old playpark—but time changes things. Rain Came, and then Shadows is a story about home. What it means; and how does someone regain that sense of “home” after being away for so long. STATMAN Directed by: Thomas Kerrigan “Amidst the battle between good and evil, everyday accountant Simon Stevens discovers that not every hero has to be super.” Tom and I were both, coincidentally, writing a super hero script before we met. It was when we sat down for the first time that I was taken in by the heart of his script and I was convinced “we have to go with this one”. STATMAN is the type of hero story I love to read, and want to tell even more so. Heroes come in all kinds of packages, and the measure of your worth isn’t based on your talents but how they’re used to help people. If you’re looking for something fresh from the slew of Marvel films going around, you’ll enjoy this film and the characters in it even more. This is a jobs pamphlet by the ABC issued in 1934 entitled "Careers for Girls". The intro to Section 1 reads: "The material in this section has been repeated from the booklet 'Careers for Boys'. Note to Self: General Life Tips

Dear Joe,

Every now and then you seem to lose your stride, and often times it spirals out of hand. Here’s some things to get you back on your feet next time around.

Productivity is key. You’re happiest when you’re productive.

1) Just go do the laundry. It takes like 5 minutes to dump all the clothes in, put some soap, and start the machine. Trust me, you’ll feel better.

2) While that’s happening, take out the trash. It takes like 5 minutes. Trust me, you’ll feel better.

3) Then go do the dishes, 10 minutes tops. Trust me, you’ll feel better.

There’s still a ton more stuff to do, but that’s plenty for now.
