anzac day
anzac day is nearly over but lets just take a moment to realise what these people that fought did for us if it wasn't for them some of us would'nt be alive today and we have to remember because most people think that anzac day is about the day they landed on gallipolli but thats not what its really about well i supose it is because on this fatal day they did they landed on the wrong beach and there were many who perished as the enemy on top of the cliff shot down at them many died in just one day and then there are people who wonder why the poppys grow out of the ground i believe that the poppys grow out of the ground because when the soilders fell their blood leeked into the ground and then the red poppys grew as a sign of new life and that those that did fall are still with us today still living on the beaches and still growing within the poppys. they sing many songs to remember this day as you could imagine they would do also some of these people that went were bearly even fifteen but they made them go anyway and all i have to say is that i am proud, and i am because like i said before if it wasn't for them the world might not be like it is today. so if you could be bothered to read all of this you now know that the people that fought for us didn't have a choice they had to do it and in my words they are very brave and they did things that i would be to scared to do, they definitly looked fear in the eye.and that is why we should definitly take a moment to remember what they did for us and all the people around them that they saved because they are the true anzacs and they always will be forever and allways in our hearts. and let me just say that some of us were close very close infact that some women waited at the train stations to see if they made it home but most of them never did and the women would just wait and wait and they never came home but some believed and some left and that, that is the true meaning of anzac. katie
