What is the one book you would take with you anywhere, given the chance? Oh god, the dreaded question… Robin Hobb’s Assassin’s apprentice? Gone with the wind? The Age of Innocence? The Light Fantastic? The Discovery of Heaven?
Would you rather spend the night on a mountaintop or on the beach, and why? On a mountaintop. A beach feels like the edge of something, a mountain like the center. I like the feeling of being at the heart of the world. Plus sand gets everywhere and waves are loud.
What is your quest? Happiness.
If you were given the chance to rewrite what is known about history, giving the opportunity for all people to have equal representation, but knowing that it would change literally everything about the world, would you do it? No, I would rewrite history starting now. There is too much to learn from the past.
