Anyone else having issues posting/previewing on Ao3?

I keep getting an Error 500 message.

I haven't seen any info about this going around, so just a heads up to anyone who has been getting this message when, say, replying to a bunch of short comments on AO3: the error message is related to all the spam on the site lately.

This is the message I got from support:

Thank you for contacting AO3 Support. For the past couple days AO3 has received a large number of spam comments that have been evading our automatic spam filter. To mitigate the issue we have put in place a limit to how many comments can be left from the same IP per minute, this is what is causing error you are encountering. We have been working on getting the situation fixed and this should be temporary. In the meantime, as a workaround, please wait over a minute between comments.

We are sorry for the inconvenience, please let us know if you have any further questions.

I just wanted to share that to save others from having to report it and AO3 staff from having to reply to the tickets.
