Hello everyone! We would like to welcome you to stage 1.5, intoxicating's Bingo round prompting stage! This is one of the most enjoyable parts of the whole process because it will be where we will gather as many prompts as it's possible~

Do help us reach a big number of prompts this time once again, do remember that your prompts are the ones that will create the bingo cards and we need your help for this process ♡ remember that writers need your prompts~♡

Prompting for this round officially starts now! Just quick reminders:

-No noncon/dubcon/rape prompts

-No extreme gore/incest/ underage sex/ extreme kinks / triggering topics

-Prompt to your hearts’ content, you can send more than 1 prompt!

-Remember to keep your prompt concise but don’t outline the whole fic.

INTOXICATING 1.5 // PROMPTING INFORMATION

To some, it may be quite peculiar that we are actually opening a prompting period given the fact that it’s not the usual to gather prompts for a bingo kind of event. However, we were approached by nbin enthusiasts eager to prompt and while brainstorming how to tackle this round, we ended up coming up with this idea : the prompts in the squares in the bingo card will be written by everyone and anyone who loves nbin <3

Surely, mods will also prompt as it’s the usual in a bingo round - but we wanted this experience to include everyone who made the first round such an unforgettable experience that gifted the tags with incredible works. 

So if you were eager to prompt, this is in part, especially for you! Thank you for wanting to share your ideas nbin nation! ^^

The process will be as we have done before, you guys will submit your prompts through a google form and it will still hold the same concept as the first round: intoxicatingly sweet and fully intoxicating.

This is one of the most entertaining parts of a fest and we hope and REALLY NEED to gather prompts a plenty this time! remember that they will be what the bingo cards will consist of. 

Let’s refresh the sides of the fest?

INTOXICATINGLY SWEET

Anything that falls under the category of: light hearted romance, fluff, slice of life, comedy, light angst with a happy ending, fantasy and anything that is light, sweet and saccharine will go here.From love at first sight to stories about first love and confessions, all that is cute, adorable and light is allowed. No heavy topics will be part of this - do remember this is the ‘cherry cherry grape grape’ side of the fest! Cutesy, sweet, playful, funny and soft!  

FULLY INTOXICATING

A lot of people love to get a little heavier genre wise. Anything that is enthralling and alluring or mesmerizingly dark will go in this side. Angsty love stories, dark romance, forbidden romances, explicit smut ( be it pwp or with plot), any kind of au that tackles with more heavy topics, that captures the captivating side of nbin will be part of this side.

Note: Remember that you can check the previous prompt sheet in order to get an idea of the prompts that were part of each side. 

-PROMPTING RULES-

-The only prompts that will be accepted are Hakyeon / Hongbin ones. OT3/OT4/etc prompts won’t be accepted since the aim of this fest is to keep the focus on nbin and have all works centered in this pairing.

-Ratings for the fic fest can go from G to E.

-Do NOT submit any prompts that present instances of non-con / dub-con / rape / incest / pedophilia.

-Extreme/ graphic gore and extreme/dangerous kinks won’t be accepted.

-There will be fields for you to express your likes, dislikes and + extra points so do make use of them wisely!

-If there are any topics that you find triggering, please don’t forget to add them to the dislikes field in the prompting form. Do mention anything that makes you uncomfortable so that the writer is aware of what they will have to avoid.

-Am I allowed to prompt even if I won’t be writing? Absolutely! You can be part of the prompting process even if you aren’t planning to write for this round.

*IMPORTANT THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND

Due to the nature of this round, we really want to suggest for the prompts to not be too overly detailed. Keep them open enough, from short to medium size. The reason for this is because the prompts will be randomized and some of the cards will end up having the same prompt--while everyone interprets the prompt in a particular, please don’t write an overly detailed prompt since there may be a chance that two different writers may get it/write it.

Don’t feel limited when it comes to prompting though, a small paragraph, an open situation, a song prompt, quote prompt, a combination of au + situation or quotes can do. Remember to be concise.

But please feel free to let creativity take over!

INTOXICATING STAGE 1.5 // CLAIMING AND POSTING

CLAIMING

This time, claiming for Intoxicating will be somehow different. While in a way the process of this means getting a card with different prompts, it will also be done in a first come first serve manner. Keep on reading to find out why you need to be fast regarding the prompts you want to claim

-HOW WILL THE CARDS BE MADE?-

We want everyone to feel entirely happy with this round and to have at least 1 story that they really want to write, so you will definitely have a say in the way your card will be made. The claiming process will ensure that at least one of the prompts that you really like ends up in your hands. And who knows? maybe we give you your 3 options? The rest of the prompts in your bingo card will be entirely chosen randomly.

You will be getting in between one or three prompts of your choice and the rest of your card will be a total surprise! 

However, remember that the prompts you choose have to be from either Intoxicatingly sweet or Fully Intoxicating UNLESS you want to get the 4 x 4 All consuming Intoxication card. 

-HOW CAN I CLAIM A CARD?-

The claiming process will still be done through Google Sheets. You will have the usual fields you regularly fill out in a fic fest and an option to choose the type of card you want to claim. You will get your card after the claiming process closes so that we can create your personalized card.

The prompts will be coded on the prompts sheet, so copy either the prompt’s number or the prompt in full (just the prompt however, this way it’s easier to know that we didn’t get you an incorrect prompt)

-AM I ALLOWED TO EXCHANGE MY CARD?-

Since the cards are not fully randomized but built with your choices in mind, unless you want to change your “main prompt” then it is allowed. But only in an scenario like that OR if you have claimed the Hints of Intoxication card and want another word combo (you can change your card up to 3 times but only for this card) You are not allowed to exchange your card with another participant, however.

GENERAL CLAIMING GUIDELINES

-Don’t forget that if you are interested in any of the prompts you have to be fast because first come first serve for your card’s main prompt!

-You will need to wait a few days for your mail confirmation because we need to create everyone’s cards. So the waiting time will take a bit longer than last time.

-Can I claim if I didn’t send in a prompt? Yes, yes you are totally allowed to claim even if you didn’t take part in the prompting process.

-Please, do read carefully over your prompts, read the likes, dislikes and plus points! You have all the creative freedom for this but do consider anything triggering your prompter may have listed in their prompt.

-Can I claim a prompt I have submitted? Weeeeell, if you didn’t leave your e-mail in the prompt form and you are just dying to write your own prompt (it happens, we know it, we have all been there) nobody will ever know that you claimed your prompt so go ahead! (but remember it is fun to choose from the library <3)

-To all participants: do remember to tag your work accordingly! (rating, triggering topics and whatnot)

-Want to claim more than one card? If you have made bingo or finished at least 1 work in your card then you are free to request 1 more card (the situations in which this applies have been explained in the bingo information post)

 POSTING

Posting this time will be done far more freely than last time, you will submit your work to a collection which will be be moderated, however, it won’t be an anonymous one. That means that we won’t be doing reveals this one time around, we will be posting links to all of your works as we get them in the collection and they will be unveiled in a beautiful avalanche of nbin works (the time which unveiling will take place will be decided according to the number of works we have by the end of the fest)

As you know, the works you can post can go from short fics, oneshots to multi chaptered fics (you can finish this type of work even after the fest is done, so you can fill your square even by submitting only one chapter! This is to help the participants who are filling more than ONE square though)

INTOXICATING BINGO ROUND INFORMATION

-What is the bingo about?-

The bingo round is a special event created in order to spice things up and to have a dynamic format, different from our original prompt & claim one. In this bingo, you will need to write a different number of fics featuring Hakyeon / Hongbin. It is nbin centric so you can write from any of their points of view. The ideal goal is to get a complete line of bingo, however, if you desire to keep on writing you are free to do so <3 you can even complete your card if you feel energized enough.

Remember it’s all about us having fun and giving love to the nbin tag <3

-What Bingo cards are we able to get?-

The Intoxicating team has prepared 4 different cards, all of them based on the same duality concept that we used on the first round. We didn’t want to make that many changes to the concept of the fic fest so here is what we came up with for this round!

BASIC 3 X 3 CARDS

INTOXICATINGLY SWEET CARDS

This cards will include a mix of prompts that are from the more lighthearted side of the prompt sheet (confessions, love at first sight, slice of life, friends to lovers--anything and everything that is light, if you have witnessed the first round then you know the drill).

FULLY INTOXICATING CARDS

This card will include a varied assortment from the angstier, sexier and darker side of the prompt sheet (all that is angst, perhaps forbidden romance? sexy times? all goes here)

How to get bingo with these cards?

To be able to say you got a bingo you have to fill a line of your card, which would mean getting 3 prompts filled ( horizontal, vertical or diagonal lines)

4 x 4 SPECIAL CARDS

ALL CONSUMING INTOXICATION 

This special card will provide you with the full Intoxicating experience, a 4 x 4 card made half of Intoxicatingly sweet prompts and half of fully intoxicating ones. This one is for writers who want to tackle a different kind of prompts and don’t want to limit themselves to only one side and/or want to experiment with the duality of nbin entirely! You will get a total of 16 prompts at your disposal so hopefully, it’s exciting enough.

HINTS OF INTOXICATION

A special one word / theme / au card, this one has been prepared by the mods for writers who don’t want to be caged by a prompt and want to be part of the fest, we will give you keywords, situations, maybe even quotes? who knows! it’s a surprise mix which will allow you to take your story wherever you want to~

-How to get bingo in these cards?-

To get bingo in these 4 x 4 special cards you will need to fill a total number of 4 prompts, any of the lines will help you win this card.

-How to fill out a square?-

For the square to be valid as a part of the bingo round, you have to write a fic based on any of the prompts provided in your card. General rules will apply but don’t worry! we will explain them again.

Keep in mind that the work in question must be a new work, so only works that were created for the fest are allowed (meaning that you can’t cross out the square if you are adding a chapter to an on-going fic. More about this on the posting explanation section)

-IS IT ALLOWED TO FILL THE WHOLE CARD?-

If your energy is all the way up then you are free to fill out your whole card! 

-Is it necessary to get a bingo if I sign up?- 

The ideal scenario would be for participants to indeed get a bingo, however, since this round is meant to be slightly more lighthearted than the previous ones then: you don’t really have to make a bingo. You can write any prompts from the card that you have been given in any order, or you can write just one prompt if you only liked one out of your whole card. The idea is to have fun. 

//GENERAL GUIDELINES + RULES //

This is to remind you about the basic rules that will still apply to the fic fest, some have been taken out in order to suit this round. But it’s always good to refresh the memory a bit!

-Don’t forget that it’s a must for you to have an ao3 account, so in case you don’t have one yet please don’t forget to request for one!

-Prompting and claiming will still be done through Google Forms.

-Prompts will be displayed on a Google Sheets file.

-Prompting doesn’t recquire any sign-ups, so do prompt away. Remember that you can send more than one prompt (in fact, we really want you to prompt to your heart’s content)

-Made bingo in one card and want to claim another card? You can ask for another card if you have either made bingo on your card or if you have at least written 1 fic and want to try out the other cards. This however only applies if you have either claimed one of the 3 x 3 cards or the 4x4 mixed card and want to get the special word / theme prompt card.

-The minimum word count for your work should be 500w for the check in and the final word count should be at 1000W, don’t forget that you can go above and beyond that limit, however.

-The works that can be submitted are oneshots, ficlets and chaptered fics. However, they have to be exclusive for this fest so they can’t be sequels or prequels to previous works or chapters of on-going fics.

-You can either submit your work at 100% or if your story evolved too much, you can submit the first chapter.

-Hakyeon/Hongbin must be the main pairing in all of the stories submitted. You are free to choose the pov you are going to be writing from though.

-Please tag your work correctly, make mention of any kind of triggering topics. (more rules regarding this when we release prompting and claiming information)

-Flaming and hateful comments won’t be tolerated, we want this fic fest to be an awesome experience for writers, readers, and the general public so we will be reinforcing this rule if we see any kind of conduct that will cause uncomfortable situations.

-It is a must for communication to be a thing between mods and you, do please let us know if you have received our e-mails! We will be sending e-mails throughout the whole process and tweeting that we have so in case you haven’t got an e-mail, contact us ASAP and in the case you have received it, do reply letting us know you read!

-This fic fest is exclusively Nbin focused so any kind of ot3+ isn’t allowed (other past ships for the sake of plot can, however, be allowed–but remember, this is Nbin centric)!
