This post is going to be long. But I just want to make this.
Zelda, my queen, my wife: I'd fight all the evil in the world to see your smile again. You are incredibly smart and beautiful. I miss when we braided each other's hair. I miss brushing your scales that glowed in the night.
King Rhoam: I hope you are proud of me for saving and protecting your daughter. I know I failed a few times, just I always tried, even if it would take months. Thank you for helping me when I had no memory to my name.
King Rauru: Thank you for making the months I spent looking for Zelda less lonely. It was a bit jarring that only I could see you for a while until Mineru joined the party. Thank you for all your help when I couldn't figure out some things.
Queen Sonia: I never got to meet you. But you were one of my wife's mother figures. So, thank you for taking care of her and training her while she was in the past.
Mineru: you are both a Sage and Royal Family, so I need to mention you first. You were always vague, but you were incredibly smart and knowledgeable. Thank you for giving us so much information about the Zonai back in their hayday. I know Zelda, Purah, and Robbie were ecstatic about it.
Sidon, my almost brother-in-law: I'm so proud of you. I know that when you saved Mipha in a timeline that was not ours, you became depressed and protective of everyone else, especially of Yona. I know out of everyone, you were the most affected by the realization that nothing changed in our reality. But even so, I must thank you for helping me save our Hyrule twice and an alternative Hyrule.
Yunobo: The fact you grew so tremendously thanks to the timeline jump astonished me. Originally, you were so cowardly, which of course was understandable. I'm glad that meeting your grandfather and training with him taught you a lot.
Tulin: I'm so happy that I got to meet you. Over the 7 years between the Calamity and the Upheaval, you became such a fine archer like your father and Revali. I'm so glad I got to be like the cool aunt to you.
Riju: Thank you for upkeeping the laws your great-grandmother put in place. Thank you for all your help regarding Vah Naboris. And most importantly, thank you for saving two different versions of Hyrule.
Mipha, my almost fiancee: I miss you. You are so kind and beautiful, like the sunset over the ocean. Losing you was... a lot. I'm so sorry that had to happen. If you're out there, I'm thankful for all your help.
Daruk: I'm going to say this again; don't apologize for dying. It was out of your control. You were a great friend. Thank you for, y'know, trying to get me, Mipha, and Zelda into a relationship. I mean, you already knew Mipha and I were dating, but you also very much knew about our ambiamorous, open relationship. So like, it sorta worked. Um, it's just it took over a century and a death of one of said partners. I do wonder what happened in the alternate timeline your grandson helped in. I hope that Linkle had a good life.
Revali: Thank you. Thank you for all your help. I know you probably never considered me a friend and more of a rival. But, I always saw you as a friend. I'm sorry that you weren't the chosen hero. I know you wanted to be, and trust me, I didn't want to be the chosen heroine, if it was possible, I would've traded places with you.
Urbosa: You saw right through everyone's masks, that's what made you a great chief and friend. I'll always cherish you seeing through my boymoding. You saw I wasn't happy with being a man and you saw what I truly was. Thank you, Urbosa. Thank you for making it legal for trans woman to be welcome to Gerudo Town. Thank you for taking me out to get women's clothes.
Teba: What can I say outside of "thank you"? You saved a version of Hyrule that was not ours. You helped me board Vah Medoh. You let me be the cool aunt figure to your son. You were the one who told me and Zelda about the alternate timeline. It was painful to hear, but I'm so glad you did.
Kass: You're my first friend that I made after waking up from cryosleep. Your music soothed my soul and I did your Shrine Quests and that one rupee quest as fast as I could across all of Hyrule so you could return to your wife and children. When I saw all of you together, singing and playing music, it made life feel better.
Yona: You and Sidon are really cute together. Thank you for fixing my Zora Armor Mipha made for her planned engagement. Your and Sidon's wedding was absolutely beautiful. Your white dress matched your complexion. I'm glad that your and Sidon's daughter and my and Zelda's son got along. It was sweet of you to suggest naming your daughter "Mipha" to Sidon.
Impa: You were so talented. I learned so much from you both pre-Calamity and post-Calamity. I do wonder if I had woken up before the century if you would've taught me your Sheikah Ninja techniques and spells. Those were... really cool.
Purah: Oh goddesses... You were a force to be reconned with. The amount of hours you and Zelda would ramble to each other about ancient technology was in the thousands. I of course was always caught in the middle, always ending up being your test subject or ending up fetching something you needed. Sometimes I'd wonder if you ever thought of anything outside science and technology.
Robbie: Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. You invented a robotic organ that turned testosterone into estrogen and estrogen into testosterone for all of us who were trans in Hyrule. You were able to do the surgery on me and give me a huge boost in my transition. Thank you.
Paya: Your crush on me was really cute. I didn't have the same feelings, but I'm really glad you and Tauro got together. I remember the times we'd chat while our children played together. It was really great. You were a really great friend.
Medilia: I know that this probably wasn't your name. But, it was at least a different Link's mother's name, and following the naming convention of everything, I wouldn't be surprised. But, anyway, Mother, I'm sorry that you were alone when the Calamity struck... Me, your only child, and Father off fighting while you were alone. I know you made it to safety. I do remember King Dorephan telling me that you made it to the safety of Zora's Domain and lived the rest of your life there. And thank you, Mother. Thank you accepting me as your daughter and not a son.
Arn: I know that this probably wasn't your name. But, it was at least a different Link's father's name, and following the naming convention of everything, I wouldn't be surprised. But anyway, Father, thank you. Thank you for providing for me. Thank you for teaching me everything I know about the sword, bow, spear, axe, shield, claymore, and club. I... I'm so sorry that I let you die. I'm so sorry that I listened to King Rhoam's order to take Zelda and run. I'm so sorry that I ran without saying a word and listened to that Guardian laser as it pierced through you and blew up the king and all of the other Royal Guards.
Link: Who knew I'd name you after my deadname. I certainly didn't. But, I gave it to you because my father gave it to me, so I wanted to honor his memory. You were my amazing son. When Zelda realized she was pregnant... I will say I was anxious. I'm happy that we got to be mothers to you. Watching you grow was absolutely beautiful.
King Dorephan: Sir, I'm grateful for how understanding you were and how much you would trust me, even though I failed your daughter by not being by her side and saving her. Thank you for taking care of my mother until she passed away while I was in the Shrine of Resurrection.
Deku Tree: You were wise. So very wise and you overlooked all of Korok Forrest and the Lost Woods, making sure only those with a pure heart would be able to find the center.
Hetsu: A formidable ally. I know of what you did in Age of Calamity's timeline, or at least, what that version of you did. I know that only in our timeline, you helped me get to the center of the Lost Woods to pull the Master Sword. I loved how you'd play your maracas
Fi, the Master Sword: It took me a hundred years. It took until I beat the Master Trials, but I finally heard you. And I'll always remember the first thing you said to me: "Congratulations, Master." I went on two adventures with you, so if course I miss you. I have a replica of the sword you inhabited, just holding it gives me the feeling you're there.
Maz Koshia: Thank you for all your training. It really was useful, especially 7 years later when Ganondorf was my enemy. Though, I'm assuming you already knew that, didn't you? You Sheikah had clairvoyant visions after all.
Ganondorf: What do you expect me to say? You killed my father, my girlfriend, my friends, all of my comrades, 90% of my kingdom, and you even killed me. No, you are not forgiven. I don't even know why you wanted the world to be destroyed. If you got your way... what then? What was your grand scheme? Rule over what people?
Kohga: At a certain point, you just needed to retire. You were 127 years old, slightly older than Impa, and even she retired. You and your husband should've just moved to Kakariko Village and let the next generation of Yiga take over. I'm not sure why you were so hell-bent on trying to assassinate me and my wife.
Sooga: I'll never forgive you for almost successeding in killing my wife multiple times, just as you probably won't ever forgive me for almost successeding in killing your husband multiple times. But, we're essentially the same person, aren't we? Two sides of the same coin. Honestly, I just wish you convinced your husband to retire from the Yiga Clan. You were about two years younger than Kohga, right? Still a year older than Impa and again, she had retired.
