I hope thememoriesfire is doing well. I also hope they have published several novels by now. My last hope is that I randomly discover those novels.

I'm a big fan of TMF, and I re-read Assured of Certain Certainties all the time. I've been reading it again recently, and I noticed in the Author Note's at the beginning of one of the chapters that they said that they had written over 80 chapters at that point. I don't suppose any happens to have anymore of their work after Chapter 64? I would really love to know what TMF had in mind for the end of the story and the characters. It's just such an amazing story ❤️
Ooof just found this in the askbox. Tumblr never notified me!
So, I think, there may be some additional chapters in the Google drive, but I could be wrong. There’s a lot of stuff in the Google drive. Even so, I know things dry up somewhere in the 60s.
But also if you check the AoCC tag, you’ll find recollections of what TMF said about how she wanted to end the story.
Sorry for the delayed answer!

Agroecology in Action: Harnessing the Power of Orphan Crops
Howard-Yana Shapiro, Chief Agricultural Officer of Mars, writes on Farming First about how orphan crops can benefit African farmers and the wider world.
Africa has thus far missed out on having its own ‘green revolution’. One reason for this is that it has no large, homogenous ecosystem, such as India’s Deccan Plateau. Any approach to boost productivity and food security must fit Africa’s myriad,…

RE: AoCC’s Ending and Reasons for its Discontinuation
Hello! So today, I received a nice a very nice message from @brittanyye regarding some correspondence she had with TMF regarding AoCC when it was initially discontinued, thanking her for the fic and expressing disappointment, but also understanding.
TMF’s response is as follows:
Aw, hey, thanks very much. For what it’s worth, AOCC ends with Quinn and Finn switched back, heading to New York for college, and Rachel vowing to never speak to either of them again because she’s found out the truth. The second story in the series then picks up 3 years down the line with Rachel finally cracking and needing answers from them on why they did what they did, and what it meant. This leads to a slow build of a relationship (of kinds) between Rachel and Quinn, but the more I thought about this, the more I realized that I could never, ever actually write this into a happy ending of the kind that fandom desires, at which point I thought it better for my own health that I just left it where it was. This was very much not the kind of story that fan readers generally would’ve been into because there was no happy ever after to be found in it, but I felt very pressured to force one, and nobody likes feeling that way about a hobby, y'know? :)
Thanks so much for your enthusiasm. And, hey, I don’t know if you care, but I’ve taken some of the main principles of the bodyswap story and am writing an original (but very different) project with them over at eightsandtens.tumblr.com - no obligation, obviously, read only if you’re interested (and maybe start in a month when I have some more stuff up!).
That said, the Eights and Tens tumblr page is defunct, but you can find what is archived from it in the Google Drive.
So there you have it guys: some idea of the ending and some insight into why it was discontinued. (Which we already kinda knew because that’s the way the cookie crumbles with fandom, BUT! It’s nice to have legit confirmation!)
i should be working right now but honestly how can i do anything else when i could instead be reading Assured of Certain Certainties
Not sure if my previous question worked, i'm kind of stupid with tumblr, anyway this was what tumfs wrote to me forever ago. i(.)imgur(.)com/avpsgIP(.)png
Thank you so much for sharing this. :)
re: AoCC -- there was never talk re: legal repercussions for QiF's actions. the fic was looking at the *moral* implications of the deception Quinn committed (with Finn's blessing, initially) -- and on how much intent does, or should, matter in judging whether Quinn's choices were right/wrong. anyway, actual spoilers: [cont]
Shelby & Beth return, causing Rachel to freak out and QiF to click with her in ways Finn could not have; FiQ comes out to Judy, Santana becomes a real friend to Q; post-swap Rachel finally realizes what was going on, punches Quinn, says she never wants to see her again; Quinn either wants to or tries to kill herself again, Sam talks her through it; the end was just flat-out depressing for all parties. (this was all posted in an outline on tumblr at some point btw!)
Fantastic! Thank you for sharing what you remember. :)
I remember that outline and that's where most of what I remember came from, but, as we can see, I couldn't remember all of it. Now, if only someone had saved that outline in its entirety....dang.
Thank you again!
AoCC
Hey! Did Tumfs ever write about what might have happened in AoCC? I just finished rereading it and wow it left off at really tense time. I remember reading that she initially intended to have 3 parts to the story, but I'm hazy on any/all details (if there were details)...
This post is where I racked my brain for any details I could recall about AoCC and it's proposed sequel(s). It's not much, so if you can remember anything more or different, let me know.
