For the Voltron Family AU, one of the kids going for student exchange program and everyone freaking out because not only they going to the other side of the globe but also they gonna be away the whole semester! What do you think about that idea?

[The Voltron Family] It was Hunk. Hunk was supposed to go to Germany for an exchange student program---AND KEITH WAS FREAKING OUT. He was in Hunk’s room and they were sitting on the bed.

Keith: *holds Hunk’s hand and caresses it* Baby, no... *frowns*Hunk: *frowns* But it’ll be such an experience, Daddy Keith. Keith: I won’t allow it. *shakes head* You’re only 19.Shiro: *grab’s Keith’s hand* Keith, can we talk in private?

So when Shiro closed the door behind them in their own bedroom...

Keith: *sits cross legged on the bed with his arms crossed* *looks really intimidating* Shiro, don’t.Shiro: *approaches Keith and stands in front of him* Keith. Do I have to remind you that both of us took the student exchange program in college?Keith: *looks up* *glares* I am aware of that.Shiro: *touches Keith’s cheek and rubs it tenderly* And look how that turned out for us? *smiles*Keith: *leans in to the touch* *sounds broken* I just... he’s going to be continents away from me.Shiro: Keith...Keith: And he’s going to be there for a year... without me.Shiro: Hunk’s old enough.Keith: He’s 19 for god’s sake, Shiro! And in Germany! Does he even know how to speak German? *scoffs* I would’ve been okay if he went to Japan instead. At least he’ll have our families there, but in Germany... *looks at Shiro* We don’t have relatives in Germany. *frowns* And he’ll feel so alone and you know how Hunk gets when he’s---Shiro: *kisses Keith* Hey, relax. We’ll get him a nice apartment---Keith: The apartment is not the problem and you know that.Shiro: You know it’ll mean a lot to him if you allow him to go. He applied for it himself. Clearly hoping to get chosen and he was. *rubs Keith’s cheek* Just let him do this and if he feels like he can’t last for a year, we’ll book his ticket home immediately.Keith: Hunk’s my baby, Shiro. My 19 year old big baby boy. Shiro: *chuckles* I know.

So Hunk was allowed to go to Germany for a year and the family made sure to Skype him when he was free.

Hunk: *waves at everyone* Helloooooo! Family: *waves* Hey!Shiro: What time is it there?Keith: Are you eating well?Lance: How’s Germany, Hunk?Hunk: Uh, it’s 12 midnight and yes, I am eating well. And Germany’s pretty great actually! A lot of work load but nothing I can’t handle--so far. *smiles sadly* I miss you all already. I miss Lance’s laughs and Pidge’s nagging. Daddy Shiro and Daddy Keith being all cheesy and corny in front of us... *sighs* You guys should visit me sometime.Keith: *snaps his head at Shiro* *grins widely* When is your next vacation, sweetheart?Hunk: *ponders* I have a week off by next week I think.Keith: *grins* Consider it done! Shiro: *gasp* What?Pidge: OHOHOHOOHOHOH We’re going to Germany, baby! *fist in the air*Lance: *wipes tears* I friggin love this family. We’re so impulsive.Shiro: *chuckles* Keith, oh my god. *runs his hand through his hair* *looks at Hunk* Guess we’re all coming there next week.Hunk: *laughs* Oh my god.

So the whole family packed for one week in Germany to be with Hunk and boy were they all excited! They might’ve caused a scene at the airport when Hunk came to pick them up. It was one huge hugging pile. Keith made sure Hunk ate a lot and to make sure to tell them if his allowance wasn’t enough. They toured the country for a week and even though Hunk was tired, he was pretty much happy his family were there. They took so many photos, especially embarrassing ones. Hunk cried and Keith hugged him and told him they would visit again when he was free. He looked forward to it. They visited five times that year and Hunk was really grateful.

So about the Voltron Family AU, we already know how Shiro and the kids react when someone is flirting with Keith but how would it looked like the other way around? I'm really curious to know (*≧∀≦*)

HOHOOHOHOH Previously on The Voltron Family, Shiro reacting to someone flirting with Keith. Always the opposites, aren’t ya? :)))

They were at the Parents-Teachers meeting in school. Shiro handled Pidge’s because it was at the same time with Hunk’s to which Keith attended to. After the meeting ended, Shiro and Pidge went out of the room holding hands.

Single Mom: Hello, Mr. Shirogane. *taps Shiro*Shiro: *turns* Hello. Mrs. Harrington, right?Single Mom: Yes, well. I’m divorced so Olivia is just fine.Shiro: Apologies then, Olivia.Olivia: Why, aren’t you quite a charmer. I’m sure your daughter here finds it troublesome.Pidge: *shakes head* Not really no. *tightens her grip on Shiro* Daddy Shiro, we need to go to D--Olivia: If it’s alright I’d like to talk to your daddy just for a second regarding something from the meeting, sweetheart? *smiles*Pidge: *pouts* Okay.Olivia: I was interested in your proposal on making cupcakes to raise funds. I think it’s a really good idea and I was wondering if you’d like to talk more about what cupcakes to bake for next week? I’m a baker myself.Shiro: *smiles* Oh, that would be lovely. Keith was just done with Hunk’s meeting so he was making his way to Pidge’s classroom when he sees Shiro talking to this beautiful tall blonde woman who was perfect for Shiro’s height. Keith knew that Shiro loved him but sometimes he just couldn’t help but think he deserved someone better. Someone who could actually give him kids his own blood. Keith can’t give that and he deflates at the thought so he slowly pulls Hunk and Lance away when--

Shiro: *shouts* Keith! Over here!Keith: *silently curses himself* *turns around and smiles at Shiro* *grabs his kids so they can walk towards him*Olivia: *eyes widens* *smiles* Oh, who might this handsome man be? *looks at Shiro* A friend of yours?Keith: *winces*Shiro: *seems to have muted Olivia* *IS ONLY LOOKING AT KEITH* *smiles at him and kisses him on the lips* I’ve missed you. *breathlessly* So How’s the meeting with Hunk?Keith: *shocked at the boldness* Uh...Hunk: *smiles* Daddy Keith proposed to have a book sale!Shiro: *smiles* That’s wonderful.Keith: *gulps* Yeah... *looks at Olivia* Shiro: *suddenly realizes that he was talking to Olivia* Oh, apologies. As soon as Olivia left...

Keith: *pinches Shiro* You totally knew she was hitting on you.Shiro: *grins* Yep. And I totally knew it was making you uncomfortable that she thought we were friends. So I thought of setting the record straight.Keith: *smiles* You’re just so---Shiro: I honestly get offended when people don’t think we’re married! I mean, why wouldn’t I marry you?! You’re the most wonderful per--Keith: *rolls his eyes* *hugs* Thank you.Shiro: *smiles down* You need to stop thinking that I’d rather have someone else than you, you know? Even the kids know that.Pidge: Yep. Daddy Shiro’s totally lovesick with you, Daddy Keith.Lance: Don’t be so blind.Hunk: Daddy Shiro told me one time he misses touching your hair when you had to work overtime. So I was watching video from my brother wedding and started wondering, in your Voltron family AU did Keith and Shiro filmed they wedding? If so have the kids seen it?

YES THE KIDS HAVE SEEN THEIR WEDDING VIDEO!! :’D 

[The Voltron Family] It was one of those things that Pidge asked about and Shiro was all smiley and way too happy to share with their kids. 

“I thought you guys would never ask!” Then he brings them all to the living room and Keith arrived and saw them all in the couch watching the video.

It was so sappy and so friggin NERDY for a wedding. Shiro was a crying mess, but Keith was no better. They were too caught up watching that they didn’t notice Keith watching from behind the couch and when the video ended, Shiro received a soft sweet kiss on the neck. He turned around and saw Keith and just smiled at him lovingly.

Keith: *whispers* I love you.Shiro: *whispers back with a huge smile* I love you more.

They were so cute that Lance, Pidge and Hunk were all hugging their own throw pillows and just went all tingly because their Daddies were so adorable.

Pidge: How long have you been married?Shiro: Five years now.Lance: That’s so… *counts his fingers* That means you adopted us on your 3rd year of marriage then? Keith: Yeah, we did.Hunk: *still feeling all tingly and happy* *hugs his throw pillow tighter* I’m so happy you married Daddy Shiro, Daddy Keith.Shiro: Me, too.Pidge: *cuddles Shiro and Keith* I’m so glad you adopted me.Lance: *joins in* Me, too.Hunk: *joins in the cuddle fest* Me three.Keith: *teary eyed* I’m so emo oh my god. Shit.Lance: *scandalized* Daddy Keith! BAD WORDS JAR!!!Shiro: *laughs* You heard your son, Keith. About Voltron Family AU what do you think about this: One day Shiro is so sick he have to take a day off, and ad first the kids are happy cuz theirs Daddy will stay at home with them, but then they see how awful he feels and want to do something for him to make him feel better. Like make him some food or do one of his chores for him, but its end in disaster and then Keith helps them sae the day. Or just something where one of the Daddys is sick and the others are trying to help him.

Shiro has a cold and Keith decided to work at home. Someone needed to take care of the husband while the kids were in school. The kids arrive at lunch (they ride their amazing school bus they dubbed as Voltron lmao yes i went there sue me hahahaha)

Lance: I HEARD DADDY SHIRO IS HOME!! *runs quickly as he places his bag on the floor carelessly*Pidge: Lance! You bumped into me!! Lance: *hugs Pidge* Sorry, sorry. I didn’t mean to. *then runs upstairs*Pidge: Hello, Daddy Keith. How’s Daddy Shiro?Keith: *is so amused his child is asking such a thing like a grown up* He’s doing okay. You could go see him yourself but don’t be too noisy.Pidge: *nods and walks upstairs*Keith: How’s school, Hunk? Hunk: *holds Keith’s hand* It was okay. We got to learn multiplication today. *knits eyebrows* It was… a bit hard. Can you teach me later?Keith: Of course.

Keith and Hunk joins Pidge and Lance in the master bedroom where Shiro is. He’s on the bed and Lance keeps on putting so much pillows around Daddy Shiro like there’s no tomorrow.

Pidge: What are you doing, Lance?Lance: *scandalized* Don’t be dumb, Pidge! I’m trying to keep Daddy Shiro warm because he has a cold.Shiro: *tries to smile weakly but he has a face mask*Lance: *sits beside Shiro’s left on the bed* *kisses him on the cheek* How are you today, Daddy Shiro? Did Daddy Keith tell you a bedtime story?Keith: *rolls his eyes fondly* *sits on the bed with Hunk on his lap*Pidge: *tries going up the bed to join* *sits on Shiro’s right* *taps his cheek* Oh, you do feel very warm. Lance: He needs more kisses, Pidge! Do it! This side of his cheek is not so warm when I kissed it so do that side while I do this side.Pidge: *is actually believing all this shit Lance is talking about* You’re right. That might make Daddy Shiro feel better.

So two kids keep showering Shiro with kisses on the face and Shiro is pretty much enjoying all the love he’s getting LMAO Bless the mask it lessens the possibility of his kids catching his cold 

Keith: Do you want to join them, Hunk?Hunk: *in deep thought* If I hug Daddy Shiro will he feel better?Keith: He definitely will. 

They all go down to prepare lunch but the kids have other ideas.

Lance: *dragging a hamper* Keith: Lance, what are you doing? Put that back.Lance: It’s laundry day and you’re making lunch so we should help with the chores since Daddy Shiro is sick.Keith: *is touched* Awww, it’s okay, Captain. I can do it myself after this.Hunk: But don’t you have to work on that manuscript?Keith: Oh, right. I do. I’ll work on it after doing the laundry.Pidge: No, Daddy Keith. We can’t just be free-loaders! We don’t even help pay the rent since we don’t earn money! *throws hands in the air*Keith: *giggles* Pidge, we don’t pay rent. We own this house.Pidge: *places finger on Keith’s lips* Say no more. Leave it to the laundry pros. *goes with Lance and helps him drag the hamper*Hunk: I don’t feel good about this.

As expected, the laundry room is a mess. Bubbles are everywhere and Keith panics because he can’t find his children. Lance appears when he suddenly started sneezing, he was holding Pidge’s hand.

Keith: What happened here? *wipes Lance’s face and the Pidge’s*Pidge: LANCE DID IT! HE SAID WE NEEDED MORE BUBBLES!Lance: I’m sorry, Daddy Keith. *sobs*Keith: Hey, it’s okay. Just wait for me next time, yeah? *hugs*Pidge: There should be like a pamphlet for this. Like, Laundry 101 for Kids.

Keith just laughs. He tells them to go and take a bath before they get sick. After cleaning their mess, he returns to the kitchen and he sees Hunk bending down, about to wipe something on the floor. Then Keith sees that they were shards of broken glass.

Keith: Hunk! Don’t you dare touch that!Hunk: I’m so sorry!!! *tries not to cry but failing* I wanted to place Daddy Shiro’s lemon juice on the tray and I couldn’t reach the– *sobs*Keith: There, there. *bends down and hugs* Are you hurt somewhere?Hunk: *shakes head* I wanted to help you. *sobs* I’ll try to pay for the glass–Keith: Hunk, I’m your Dad. No need to pay me for that. As long as you’re okay.Besides, these things get broken all the time. So don’t worry about it. 

They go back to the master bedroom and Shiro’s sits up to eat. Keith was about to feed him when Lance volunteered. It was just chicken soup anyway.

Pidge: Do you want to pee, Daddy Shiro?Shiro: Not really I—Pidge: You should pee. You drank a lot of lemon juice.Lance: I’ll help you up!Hunk: I can even hold your hand all the way to the bathroom! :DPidge: I’ll open the door!Keith: *tries not to laugh*

Later that night when Keith goes to bed, he tells Shiro all the happenings that day when the kids tried helping him. 

Shiro: *laughs* Oh my god. I wish I was there to see it.Keith: *slaps him gently* It was a mess!Shiro: *laughs* HEY, SICK PERSON HERE!

They can't kill Shiro! I don't know what I'm gonna do if they kill him. O swear to god my favs always die, and not only that, no, my ships are almost always tragic. I just want them to be happy ;( I need someone to cry with. Will you cry with me?

TOO LATE. I AM ALREADY CRYING AHHAHAHHAA But I doubt they will kill Shiro in season 2. We need drama for Shiro and Keith, man. I love how they are building up their relationship and I AM SO EXCITED ARGHHHHH

OMG I love your Voltron family au so much! Normally I avoid au with children, because I don't like them, but this one! This is perfect. Also your art is incredible. Can I be adopted by Shiro and Keith too? Also can you imagine kids finding some pretty old photos of Shiro and Keith and not beliving they look like that? Like Keith photos from his emo phese or something like that. That would be so cute

The reason why in the previous episode of The Voltron Family Lance said “We don’t want to see pictures of you and Daddy Shiro kissing!” is because the three kids were playing hide and seek inside the house while Daddy Keith and Daddy Shiro were preparing lunch on a Saturday.

Lance was “it” and while he was looking for the lovely Hunk, he stumbled upon a box under their Daddys’ bedroom. So he drags the box out into Pidge’s room because it was the closest one.

Lance: Hunk! Pidge! Look!!!

Hunk and Pidge completely forgets all about hide and seek and crowds the box Lance brought.

Pidge: What is it?Hunk: Maybe we shouldn’t open it. Daddy Keith and Daddy Shiro will be mad at us. I don’t feel good about this.Lance: They wouldn’t! They love us.Pidge: It must be a secret if it’s under the bed.Hunk: And inside their room. Something we shouldn’t even know about.

Lance just shakes his head because PFFFT HIS SIBLINGS ARE SUCH CHICKENS! But he isn’t. He’s a friggin lion. HE’S BRAVE. So little Lance opens the box and it contains photos. Photos of people they have no idea of.

Lance: *picks up a photo of a dude in a gakuran with his bangs covering his left eye* Who on earth is this? Pidge: *stares at the photo* I dunno. Some Japanese guy.Hunk: Both our Dads ARE Japanese. Maybe it’s Daddy Shiro?Lance: No way. It can’t be Daddy Keith either. He doesn’t look like this.Pidge: Exactly. Maybe it’s a friend of theirs.

The kids aren’t aware that Daddy Shiro is by the door and he sees them being all busy with a box of treasured photos of Keith and him waaaay back. He slowly joins his kids and squats beside them—they still didn’t notice him.

Lance: Why would they keep a photo of their ugly looking one-eyed friend?Shiro: That’s your Daddy Keith.All three: *gasps* Daddy Shiro!Shiro: And your Daddy Keith wasn’t an ugly looking one-eyed boy either, Lance. *frowns at him* He was very charming and very good looking. A little bit emo and broody but—

A hand randomly picks out a photo from the box and all four look at the new person who joins them.

Keith: *shows a photo of young Shiro with too much eyeliner* Your Daddy Shiro was completely something else.All three kids: *laughs and points at the photo Keith was holding* OH MY GOSH AAHHAHAH DADDY SHIRO LOOKS SO WEIRD AHHAHAHAHAHHA

Shiro glares at Keith and mouths “you’re gonna pay for that later”

Keith, Shiro and the kids all sat on Pidge’s bedroom floor and together they all looked at the photos they have collected throughout the years. One would pick a photo and either of them tells them the story behind it.

Lance picks up a photo of Shiro and Keith giving each other a peck on the lips. 

Lance: What is this?Keith: *sweats nervously* What do you mean?Pidge: It’s called The French Piss, Lance.Shiro: *laughs* It’s just called a kiss actually, Pidge.Hunk: *cuddles Daddy Keith BECAUSE DUH* What is that?Shiro: It’s like when Daddy Keith and I give you goodnight kisses.Pidge: But that’s on our foreheads and cheeks. That’s not like that one. *points at the photo Lance was holding*Hunk: Daddy Keith?Keith: Errr um, when you’re in love with someone you kinda kiss them. On the lips. Yeah. Like with your Daddy Shiro. I kiss him on the lips.Hunk: Don’t you love us? *frowns*Shiro: We do, Hunk! Very much! But Daddy Keith is different. It’s when—All three kids: SHOW US SHOW US SHOW US!Shiro: *laughs* Alright, alright, alright!Keith: *stares at Shiro* Are you serious?!Shiro: *shrugs* It’s just a simple kiss.

So Shiro leans in and gives Keith a peck on the lips.

Pidge: A KISS. *nods to herself* Only meant for Daddy Keith and Daddy Shiro.Hunk: I want one too!!!!Lance: You’re not a Daddy, Hunk! You gotta be like Daddy Keith and Daddy Shiro to kiss like that. You’re only six!Hunk: And you’re five!Lance: I don’t see your point????? You’re just a big baby.Hunk: *cuddles Daddy Keith even more* Lance, you’re so mean.
