omg yes yes yes this one is one of my favorites: Floating on water summary: Liam just wants to get through his last summer working at Malik Resort before University without incident. Of course, life is never that easy, and he ends up getting roped into giving the bosses son, Zayn, swimming lessons. That wouldn’t be so bad, if Zayn didn’t happen to hate him so much. this one is also great: Not Happening summary: Zayn and Liam are roommates. They hate each other. (Most of the time.) Kids that I Once Knew summary: Zayn longs for home — Bradford; not this small town that’s nothing but University and football and a hospital his mum forces him to volunteer at. But there’s something about this place — or the boy with the buzz cut and soft eyes and Liam Payne is nothing like Bradford. Zayn hates that, slowly, he’s kind of in love with that. Permanent summary:At twenty-six, Liam has made a name for himself as one of the best football players of his generation. He’s in the prime of his game when a car accident threatens to end his career permanently. Depressed and hating the world, Liam heads back to his home town to take some time off and find himself again. He doesn’t expect to find life pretty much the way he’d left it eight years ago, and he definitely doesn’t expect to find something that might make him want to stay permanently, but that’s what he gets. After hours summary:Liam is bored with his job at the law firm. Nothing exciting ever happens. That changes drastically when he agrees to mentor the boss’s sixteen year old son, who turns heads wherever he goes. Especially Liam’s colleague Louis seems unable to resist the boy’s charms. Liam never thought he’d get to see this much of both of them, or that mentoring would turn into an R-rated event or that it would suddenly make his own love life a whole lot more interesting… there are a lot of great ones where hl are main but ziam shows up and those are great too: this one is just so good and like so funny and everyone should read it:Just Me, You, and This Box of Matches summary: Louis is fairly sure that his new neighbour is going to destroy him. And also their apartment building, and the dumpsters outside, and all the forests within a thirty mile radius. But. Mostly him. this one is also amazing and perfect: I would name the stars for you (I would take you there) summary: “Harry Styles is a poem waiting to happen, Louis thinks, eyes tracing peach flesh and the undercurrent of blue veins. He wants to write him all down, to capture the image of green eyes and red lips and skinny wrists… dark ink spilled across the page.”Or a vaguely Notting Hill-like AU (or that made for TV Disney movie Starstruck if you’ve seen it… no? Just me?) starring popstar!Harry and bookkeeper/soulful poet!Louis; and including guest appearances by Fate, a wise elderly aristocrat, and lots and lots of pining. Pull me under summary: AU. As the first British footballer to come out at the prime of his career, it helps that Louis Tomlinson is in a long-term, committed relationship. Even if that relationship is fake. (Featuring Niall as Louis’ favourite teammate, Liam as Louis’ agent, and Zayn as Liam’s boyfriend, who just happens to be good friends with one Harry Styles.) there are so many good ones, these are just a start!
