Here is my very first post on Tumblr of Baikin Trio song that I translated almost everything

I've been trying to make little felt plush toys of Baikinman's brothers, Aokinman and Akakinman. Unfortunately Akakinman was the guinea pig, so I made most of my mistakes on him, poor guy.

Just found out something really cool!

So, Baikinman's brothers are named Akakinman and Aokinman. They're red and blue, respectively, as "aka" means red and "ao" means blue. Not that creative sounding, right?

Well, it turns out that (using different characters, but still the same pronounciations), "aka" and "ao" can be words relating to "filth", just like their brother ("baikin" meaning germ)!

"Aka" can also mean grime, and "Ao" (using a Chinese symbol, which is commonly used for some Japanese words) can also mean "stained"!

Pretty clever!
