hi i love your posts and i was wondering if you could write Aonung with a reader who is kiri's twin brother and has the same connection with eywa but is considered her fury, as if kiri is her soft side and the reader your dark side NOTE: The reader has a toruk
Aww thank you so much. I’m sorry that this took two years lol
(I might have altered some parts from the movie since I have forgotten a few moments. Sorry in advance.)

Connection
Ao’nung x Male!Omatikayan!Reader
Your family just recently moved from your home. So far, others have been hostile towards you and your siblings—specially you and your twin sister, Kiri.
You and Kiri were the child of a human which both of you two took its features from. The nose, the eyes, and the five fingers. Its these features from your mother than you feel connected to her. Not only that, but you and Kiri have this special connection for nature, to Eywa. It’s like Eywa herself is speaking to you through it’s creation.
Despite that, it wasn’t enough to make you feel special with others surrounding you and thinking you are different and unfortunately, it has gone further worse arriving at Awa’atlu.
You have met the Olo’eyktan and the Tsahik’s children. Tsireya is probably the only one who treated you and your siblings very well. On the other hand, Ao’nung is a nutcase.
Ao’nung has always targeted you and your twin sister of harassment and bullying. Your sister Kiri can be highly tolerant with Ao’nung’s behavior, but you aren’t. You’re always considered the problem child alongside Lo’ak, so why not live up to it.
You’ve heard whining from your sister far away and decided to investigate. As you glide through bushes, you found your sister being picked on by Ao’nung and his minions. Your blood boils and hiss at them. Your sister’s attempt to keep you from doing something stupid we’re outweighed by how thin your intolerance is and caused a scene.
Later one, your father Jake learned about the situation and made you apologize and so as the Olo’eyktan to Ao’nung. It was a half-ass apologies, but apologize, you did. You still don’t trust him, he’s an absolute asshole after all. So why would he believed that he would stop picking with you and your siblings?
Days pass by and you continue to live in Awa’atlu with your family. You started to feel homesick, you missed the food that you used to eat, the place where you used to play alongside Kiri, you missed…home.
“You, what are you doing there?” You turn your head back to see that asshat Ao’nung.
You sat back up and look back to the shore connected to the blue waters where it vastly spread out, nothing to see but water, “I missed home.” You stated as you continue to stare at the vast water.
Ao’nung nodded, “What is your home like?” You turn back to him. You didn’t expect him to be curious about your home after what he has done so far, “Well, it’s a forest. It’s full of large trees where we could run and hop onto. Though, we lived high above. We flew around with our toruk.”
“Is that so? I guess I could see why you would miss it.” Ao’nung sat down beside you as he also join you staring at the ocean.
“Yeah, as if you know how it will feel.” You scoffed and curled yourself into not a ball.
Ao’nung exhale, “If I have to leave this place, I would missed it. I would missed swimming, the freshly caught food, the underwater.”
You listen as he speaks. Well, at least he’s perspective this time, “Yeah, you’ll live.”
Ao’nung scoff and playfully tap you in the shoulder. Somehow, a genuine connection has started to develop between you. Is this temporary? Probably. For now, you’ll cherish this moment.
