although these 2 aren’t the most likely candidates for kira’s parents, i like it? and even though gurjin is, u know, green, he really doesn’t look like his mother at all

the gelfling knowing that they can’t just kill all the skeksis because the mystics will be killed too

i know that a lot of people get angry at the mystics because they didn’t do anything to stop or hinder their other halves, but in the context of the story i think it’s better to view the dynamic between the two halves as peaceful/chaotic rather than good/bad.  obviously if the mystics were morally “good” they would’ve done what was necessary to stop the “bad” skeksis, but if the mystics are the more “peaceful” side of the skeksis, then they’re also the side that avoids conflict and confrontation if possible.  of course some mystics do confront their counterparts, but for the most part they really didn’t want anything to do with their chaotic halves and were basically just waiting for the day of the conjunction when they could become whole again.  if the crystal had not been healed, then the mystics would’ve just gone back to their valley and waited there until they died

literally almost every female vapra we’ve seen (tavra, seladon, brea, mira, the peasant woman, juni from the order of lesser service, even maudra mayrin) has 2 braids in the front regardless of how their hair looks in the back.  who started this trend? did a vapran royal do it one day and everyone just thought it was genius?

rian would be so into anime if he knew what that was.  it'd be yet another thing that confuses ordon regarding his son but he’d get kinda into it too

1 pet peeve i will always have about aor is the wing design -_- their wings are so small! and they all look the same! vaprans are supposed to be special because they have iridescent wings, but you don’t get that at all in the series.  in the books everyone had different colors and designs based on what clan they were from and they all sounded so beautiful
