Okay so I made this like a month ago and then totally forgot. You can probably gather from thier dialogue in chapter 1 of aost that Soniclet and Omelette haven't seen eachother in a long time, and this animatic ties into that. Soniclet just kind of... left one day. As she did many times; with no indication this time would be any different.
So Omelette waited.
(This will be elaborated on in chapter 3; which i haven't given up on!)
Yknow Soniclet has spent more time around humans than other hedgehogs. There's her best friend, obviously, but she also spends most of her time travelling human cities. She's seen the picturesque human mannequins and human beauty standards. She probably started to hold herself to them a long time ago. The reason I don't draw Soniclet with back quills because she cut them off to fit in human clothing. She's probably tried to shave her legs. She's painfully aware of how much she sticks out among them. She doesn't know any hedgehogs she isn't related to, she's probably out of touch with hedgehog culture. She probably wants to be human.
Tomogachi life update:

I saw that retro-ass room and knew Tenna would ABSOLUTELY have that.

And Omelette fell in love IMMEDIENTLY. FIRST INTERACTION.
Omelette just let it fester for a while. Soniclet asked to PLATONICALLY move in together. As roommates. Then, finally, finally!
To clarify: Soniclet showed absolutely zero signs of reciprocating. Omelette pulled that out her ass. Also, that's GENUINELY how Omelette talks. That IS how she'd confess to liking someone. HOW DOES THE GAME KNOW???
Writing Omelette speaking is really really funny because she has this overly formal way of speaking combined with absolutely zero impulse control, which leads to a lot of insults, but this ALSO goes for positive things. Which leads to her sounding like a little casanova sometimes.
