to willingly dirtying his hands with no time for doubts to protect his comrades

jean's character development was such a ride. he started as this seemingly self-centered character but was actually someone who values the lives of his comrades. we have seen his moral dilemmas and how he began to question their methods. but along the way he has learned to decide to do the "right call " in certain situations than the "right thing" in all situations.
