Okay but I genuinely love Alphonse’s outlook on faith? I’m not someone who’s ever deeply personally contended with that kind of thing, but something about it still felt really affirming.
“Those who are blind do not question their faith. But when you get to the answer at the end and you still hold onto that hope, that is true faith.”
Alphonse is the character who I assumed going into Sallowlands would be the least willing to talk about their feelings, but he’s engaged in so many really interesting conversations across the three episodes so far; I just love hearing what he has to say!
