always has she had a liking for sweets, no matter how mild; her favourite was not that of merely strawberry shortcake but any delight to have a ration of such enjoyable berries. seeds forming a countless and faux shell around it which gave no impact to texture, fitting easily within her mouth with a consistent taste ― they held bursts of bliss happily consumed. quite the common thing to find amongst the supply of a refrigerator, so it was not any particular surprise when they were stumbled upon by herself. within another reach of the refrigerator, however, were plastic wrapped strawberry cookies. no name nor stickers attached ・・・
while baker was most likely left to be unknown, it seemed that they were left for any passing-willing soul to eat. carefully one eye barely exposed as she looks behind her, and she feels the caution prickling amongst her spine as she slowly grasps the plate. a most brief look toward her target does corroborate in confirmation with her other senses that these are, indeed, what she thought them to be. slipped from the fridge and into the microwave after shed of their fragile plastic protection, just for a few seconds as to rid them of their chill but not to deliver them into a heat most familiar to summer, and soon she is carefully biting into her blind pick.
she hears the steps into the kitchen, and if madotsuki were to be holding the plate her hands may falter even the slightest amount. dropping to shatter, a possibility, but one not within this timeline. she breaks off the portion which her mouth had decided upon and has her teeth and jaw work slowly. when in the process of swallowing, her head turns in what she assumes the most likely direction of whatever stranger had become present. 'nd yes, they were still, without doubt. as had been for so long ・・・ she need not vision to see.
