it had been a long day-- life in the department of wishes was hard enough, but ryuah was the minister. it seemed like she was always hard at work and never had a second to breathe. earth’s population was well past 7 billion at this point-- that was a lot of human beings, and a lot of wishes to grant.

though, ryuah only wanted to grant one person’s wishes in particular.

dropping her stuff by the front door, ryuah stretched, walking around the apartment until she found her husband, long arms wrapping around his shoulders. “have a good day?” she murmured, enjoying his presence and the feeling of him in her arms. “want to go out for dinner? i wanna spoil you.”

it was an exciting day for juliette-- really, any day that she got to fuck around as bat and do what she loved to do was exciting, but today was extra special. it didn’t happen that often; the last time the syndicate had gotten a new member, it was andi, basically a year prior. so when duke said that he’d found someone new to add to the fold, it was only natural for juliette to spend the day imagining who it could be and what they were like.

watching the lair from her monitor, as per usual, everything seemed normal. andi and renzei were sparring while lorelei watched apathetically. duke wasn’t there-- probably bringing the new member in. juliette reclined, playing loud sound effects over the system whenever andi or renzei landed a hit.

and then the door slid open, revealing duke and the new member.

juliette dropped her phone into her lap, choking on her energy drink in surprise as her eyes went wide. duke had recruited her girlfriend? what a small fucking world-- the hacker was absolutely speechless, for the first time ever. quickly scrambling to play some sort of celebratory playlist over the speakers, juliette stared at her screen intently, trying to figure out if this was some sort of elaborate joke-- there was no way duke could have known who piper was to her, so how did this even happen?

ugh no I get that fr, I use urban decay naked skin in 0.5 and it’s still a Tiny bit pink n not stellar coverage but not so much that it’s noticeable under concealer/powder, but nothing else is anywhere near neutral enough to work :( seems like unless you’re mid beige finding skin products in nigh impossible :/

that’s.. Oof :/ i mean at least you can make it work, not a lot of people with our problem on either end of the spectrum can say that sjfghdgfd but fucking truE. like, that being said, i hate having to spend sm on it all bc drugstore only knows of the darkest fair shades that exist and onward to the darkest of medium/lightest of deep — and god knows i’ve rly wanted to try a couple of formulas from there but ! they don’t work bc like you said, mid beige dominates !
