Do you know what kind of lab I should do about the process of digesting?

I need a little bit more information. Like in the stomach digestion? Acids V Bases? How acidic it should be for certain diets? Are you asking like what would be best for carnivores V herbivores and why? Or does it have to do with uptake in nutrients?

Hello! D'ya know if plants exert energy or not while transpiring water?

Plants do not exert energy because transpiration is simply the evaporation of water from leaves (this is due to the energy from the sun and not an act by the plant itself) Also, plants take advantage of transpiration because transpiration creates negative pressure in the leaves causing something we call transpirational pull to pull fluid up the the xylem and the cohesion of the water molecules helps make it all possible. This is called the Transpiration pull-cohesion tension theory.

What are especially important things to know about Animal Behavior , Behavioral ecology?

It is important to know about fixed action patterns, and how they are triggered by external sign stimuli. If sign stimuli are exchanged between members of the same species they are known as releasers.

You need to know animals migrate as a response to environmental stimuli.

Animals communicate with pheromones and visual signals. 

Learning modifies behavior and the ability to learn correlates with the life span of the animal and the complexity of the brain. 

Habituation is one of the simplest forms of learning, this happens when an animal comes to ignore a persistent stimulus so it can go about functioning normally. (ask again if you need any examples)

Associative learning and the difference between classical conditioning and Operant conditioning

Imprinting and how it is irreversible and occurs during a sensitive and critical period of the subjects life.

The social behaviors and characteristics of them: cooperation, antagonistic, dominance hierarchies, territoriality and altruism. 

Understand foraging behavior, mating behavior and the evolution of behavior.

I'd also like to note there was relatively nothing from these topics on the test I took last year, but it is important to know all of this because it CAN be tested on

Bryophytes:

primitive plants that lack the xylem and phloem 

flagellated sperm must swim through water to fertilize an egg

Lack lignin [fortified tissue that is necessary to support a tall plant]

are restricted to moist habitats and are tiny, and play a significant role in diverse terrestrial ecosystems
