Do you have any tips for people planning to take the chinese ap ?
If you’re self-studying then I’m not quite sure since I took a class (1/week). Also, it depends on how (the method) your teacher prepares you for the exam. My class learned different parts of Chinese culture each week then our homework was to take ½ a practice AP exam. The best way to study is to keep practicing with past AP exams, speaking, and listening! So these are my main tips:

Read/watch news/TV in Chinese
Use a paper Chinese dictionary rather than online dictionaries
Try to have conversations in Chinese
Practice with past AP Chinese exams
