Anxiety is such a bitch. Like yes, I know brain, I know you’re trying to keep me safe because you think I’m in imminent danger and the end of the world as I know it is coming down hard right now. But it’s not. So you raising the distress to extreme mode and making me feel like I could die from something that won’t actually kill me is more than a bit too much.

I’m still doing the things I have to do. I’m still learning. I ought to be proud of myself.#an intelligent and compassionate outsider looking in would so be proud of me. so why am I not proud of me?#this is how we get better. by trying and picking ourself back up over and over and over again. this is persistence. this is resiliency.#this is self compassion #also!#I did some good work in the last 4-5 hours :)#and ofc struggled through some things but this is a journey and I’m taking steps forward!

Tempted to write an omegaverse D18 khr fic. The political implications within the world building alone would be a treasure trove, but the social bias around gender and their limitations on autonomy with those two in particular? A bevy of deliciously complicated topics to play among indeed.
