Anxiety is such a bitch. Like yes, I know brain, I know you’re trying to keep me safe because you think I’m in imminent danger and the end of the world as I know it is coming down hard right now. But it’s not. So you raising the distress to extreme mode and making me feel like I could die from something that won’t actually kill me is more than a bit too much.

Tempted to write an omegaverse D18 khr fic. The political implications within the world building alone would be a treasure trove, but the social bias around gender and their limitations on autonomy with those two in particular? A bevy of deliciously complicated topics to play among indeed.
