Adronitis ——— Lee Minho
n. frustration with how long it takes to get to know someone—spending the first few weeks chatting in their psychological entryway, with each subsequent conversation like entering a different anteroom, each a little closer to the centre of the house—wishing instead that you could start there and work your way out, exchanging your deepest secrets first, before easing into casualness, until you’ve built up enough mystery over the years to ask them where they’re from, and what they do for a living.

Flashover ——— Yang Jeongin
n. the moment a conversation becomes real and alive, which occurs when a spark of trust shorts out the delicate circuits you keep insulated under layers of irony, momentarily grounding the static emotional charge you’ve built up through decades of friction with the world.

Hanker Sore ——— Hwang Hyunjin
adj. finding a person so attractive it actually kinda pisses you off.
☞ When you were young, around the age of four, you met Hyunjin for the first time. He was kind enough, as much as another five year old could be, and he smiled so beautifully you had no choice but to become his friend. You only really saw him once every six months, for about a week or two each time, but it was still enough time to become attached and as soon as both of you could read and write your bi-yearly conversations turned to bi-weekly correspondences. It was no secret that these two young royals had journeyed into lovers for both of their entire kingdoms could tell each of them were smitten, (though neither of them had realised that their secret wasn't much of one). But soon enough the trials and tribulations of royal affairs lend a meddling hand in a sweet tale's long story.
Jouska ——— Lee Felix
n. a hypothetical conversation that you compulsively play out in your head—a crisp analysis, a cathartic dialogue, a devastating comeback—which serves as a kind of psychological batting cage where you can connect more deeply with people than in the small ball of everyday life, which is a frustratingly cautious game of change-up pitches, sacrifice bunts, and intentional walks.
☞ For your entire life, which wasn't very long you were created less than two years ago, you've been held encased in glass. Your skin a willow pattern masterpiece on ceramic, left unclothed most of the time. Your creator (and master as he had you call him) had gone through the trouble of sculpting everything about the female form on a small scale and if you knew any better you would be utterly disgusted. But you knew nothing apart from the bitingly cruel words of Master and the soothingly reassuring glances of the marble statue that was placed directly across from you across the room. After stolen glances become love letters read from the lips the two of you knew you had to do something, anything, to get out of this place and finally live properly.
Kuebiko ——— Han Jisung
n. a state of exhaustion inspired by an act of senseless violence, which forces you to revise your image of what can happen in this world—mending the fences of your expectations, weeding out invasive truths, cultivating the perennial good that’s buried under the surface—before propping yourself up in the middle of it like an old scarecrow, who’s bursting at the seams but powerless to do anything but stand there and watch.
☞ Everybody said that the future was going to be the best thing that could happen. They all said that new technologies and bigger scientific breakthroughs would create a safer world to live in. They weren't wrong, after almost two hundred years the planet Earth had transformed into a utopia of beauty, design and bioengineering. However, not all science is for the greater good and a series of connected failures essentially fucked up the atmosphere, blocking the sun and plunging the world is to a cold, dark and dry apocalyptic place where the surface is almost uninhabitable and beneath it is hell for those who aren't wealthy. It costs life and limb in this dystopia and you really liked your limbs where they were. However, the cute guy who saved you from a bunch of raiders and offered to stay would be one hell of a reason to give your life.
Scabulous ——— Seo Changbin
adj. proud of a scar on your body, which is an autograph signed to you by a world grateful for your continued willingness to play with her, even when you don’t feel like it.
☞ It was a known fact that war between species can force a rift through peace and construct hatred, it has done many times and will do so many more. It was a known fact that the tensions between the dragon thunders and the fairy herds had been completely torn apart for over one hundred years in the running. They were supposed to hate each other, fighting in a century long war that doesn't look close to stopping. From young ages both side's children were taught to fear the other, that they'd die from one another at the first sighting. Normally that would be the case - just not with you, who'd just saved a hatchling from the brink of death, and certainly not with Changbin the black wing dragon who protected you instead of attacking.
Vemödalen ——— Kim Seungmin
n. the frustration of photographing something amazing when thousands of identical photos already exist—the same sunset, the same waterfall, the same curve of a hip, the same closeup of an eye—which can turn a unique subject into something hollow and pulpy and cheap, like a mass-produced piece of furniture you happen to have assembled yourself.

Zielschmerz ——— Bang Chan
n. the exhilarating dread of finally pursuing a lifelong dream, which requires you to put your true abilities out there to be tested on the open savannah, no longer protected inside the terrarium of hopes and delusions that you created in kindergarten and kept sealed as long as you could, only to break in case of emergency.
